the whole biography
Abby Echiverri is a young producer based in Brooklyn, NY, whose intense curiosity has led her to take on a variety of roles as a musician, sound engineer, DJ and VJ. Her releases include a track on the 15 Years of the Bunker compilation followed by her debut EP on The Bunker NY, entitled Ab Initio, which has garnered a number of positive reviews. As a live musician, Echiverri’s left-field musical influences, deft hardware manipulations, and experienced engineering meld into an inventive interpretation of techno. Echiverri’s current trajectory started early in childhood when she was classically trained in violin, flute, piano and vocals, cementing music as a part of her daily life. In high school she picked up turntables and began collecting records, eventually moving to NYC to study recording engineering and perform in post-punk bands, and became a regular at Wierd and The Bunker at a very young age. Since then, Echiverri has devoted her professional hours to engineering, maintaining, and manufacturing audio equipment for studios and clubs around the world. Such intimacy with technology comes through in her music, where she enjoys working with unfamiliar hardware and acoustic samples, using unconventional effects processing, and manipulating the stereo field in disorientating ways.Their RA profile lists The Bunker New York.Recently at Nowadays, Locust Grove, House of Yes · often with Eden Aurelius, Naone, DJ Sprinkles, none of them here that night

Ben Zo has brought his acid-infused, harmonic mixing to vastly-different venues throughout Brooklyn including H0L0, Mansions, SILO, Trans-Pecos and Xanadu; and for every conceivable set time, whether it's sunset at Fourth World, New Year's Eve all-night-long at Happyfun Hideaway, or opening as well as closing Bossa Nova Civic Club, Jupiter Disco and Mood Ring, among other local cornerstones. A versatile selector with a filmmaking background, his consistently cosmic palette largely encompasses heady house and celestial techno, under the heavy influence of Italo, IDM, trance and other melodic samples. Blending the familiar and esoteric in search of vistas that evoke the natural world, he crafts uniquely psychedelic moments that echo long after in thought. He is the organizer of BUSH DÜF, a Bushwick-based party focused on 'cosmic, colorful and cathartic' techno. “Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her former residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT Nowadays and Bossa Nova Civic Club Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Berlin's Berghain, Tbilisi's Khidi, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release, Whole Festival , Draaimolen and The Great Beyond have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. the whole biography
Born in Ohio and raised by New York clubs, Cosmo is a shining modern representative of the city’s Golden Age of DJing, in skill, in spirit, and in sensibility. A forever student of 90s subcultures, Cosmo is now an authority in connecting those dots, decompartmentalizing genres during her sets and revitalizing the club as a much needed space for expression and joy. Cosmo may open a night with her early entry points to dance music, gospel and funk and vocal-heavy RnB, and proceed to blend break beats with new jack swing or old-school house with tribal—all delivered with remarkable clarity of voice and a sense of self that fueled her fated teenage move to New York to DJ over a decade ago. Being from the Midwest, her house music literacy circles its epicenters and favors groovy records, warm basslines, playful vocals, and elating instrumentals that stir the spirit. Her deep knowledge, cultural curiosity, and refreshing authenticity make Cosmo one of New York’s most in-demand DJs, a regular at the most iconic clubs and a Fashion Week party go-to. She is a resident at Public Records, where she can explore every inch of her collection and join forces with legends like Sandy Rivera as well as other torchbearing peers. She’s represented the city sharing the decks with her heroes like Honey Dijon and Mike Dunn, and on esteemed platforms such as Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show and Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company show. As a longtime resident at The Lot Radio, Cosmo gets the opportunity to share everything she cherishes and often includes parts of her CD and magazine archives. Music has soundtracked Cosmo’s every move. Her gratitude for her practice is apparent, and her effervescence behind the decks reaches the crowd no matter the size of the room—a musical hug that holds dancers through times good and bad.Recently at Elsewhere, H0L0, public records · often with Eli Escobar, Hidden Spheres, Belinda Becker, none of them here that night

“2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York.”
their own biography
the whole biography
2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Markus is known for his versatility, playing a variety of genres including EBM, House, Italo, 80s Darkwave, Breaks, and more. However, he is most renowned for his unique blend of old school electro and new school brolectro, with a distinctive touch of lesbian techno. Born to Palestinian immigrant parents in Las Vegas, he grew up in the suburbs during the 90s, where he developed a deep appreciation for 90s R&B music. In middle school, he discovered trance via Napster and limewire, igniting his passion for electronic music. Markus's move to San Francisco marked a significant turning point in his musical journey. Immersing himself in the city's vibrant underground dance scene, he learned from the renowned Honey Soundsystem, a queer collective, and the iconic Club Lonely. He also became obsessed with the local garage rock scene and perhaps his most significant musical inspiration, Beach House. In 2010, Markus co-founded the indie chillwave band Seatraffic with his friend Brandon Harrison. As the band's synth player and vocalist, Markus contributed to their unique sound, leading to several successful releases over five years. During this period, Markus found his true self on the dance floor, forming his first queer friendships and feeling a profound sense of belonging. This community became his family and played a crucial role in shaping his identity. Inspired by artists like early Grimes and Purity Ring, Markus began producing his own crossover tracks. However, his career as an architectural professional meant that music took a secondary role for a time. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Markus received his first pair of turntables from his then-boyfriend, now best-friend, Dylan. This gift ignited his passion for DJing, and during lockdown, he honed his skills as a bedroom DJ, playing at the lockdown afters with friends. Markus's most influential mentor, Robert Yang (Bezier), introduced him to Ouissam, of Savage Club Hanoi and the founder of Equation Festival in Vietnam. Ouissam challenged Markus to perform at the Rave Cave during Equation Festival 2023. Markus prepared a new live set and made his comeback after a five-year hiatus, performing original productions like "Want It Back" and "With Your Girlfriends," two tracks deeply rooted in the original sounds of Detroit Electro of the 90s, with a San Francisco and Dutch sprinkling of EBM on top. On the same trip, Markus celebrated his birthday at Savage Hanoi, where he was asked to replace Sedaf Adassi, who had to cancel due to COVID-19. This unexpected opportunity led to Markus's first DJ gig at one of Asia's most prestigious clubs. Back in Brooklyn, Markus continued to build his reputation, performing at venues like Bossa Nova Civic Club and participating in fundraisers for Palestine. Later he eventually secured regular gigs at Basement, where he plays in both the Main Room and the multi-genre-focused Studio. In 2024, Markus embarked on his first DJ tour in Asia, performing at renowned clubs such as .Tag, Pawnshop, Heim, and returning to Savage in Hanoi. This year, he will debut at Nowadays for their 24-hour party, nonstop, alongside Lena Wilkens and Vladimir Ivkovic. Markus is also set to perform at this year's Wire Festival at the Knockdown Center in May and make his European debut at Herrensauna's CSD Party in July.Recently at Earthly Delights, Knockdown Center, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with Makadsi, FASHION, Kilopatrah Jones, none of them here that night

Between his own DJing and his work behind Sorry Records, Nick Boyd has become something of a staple of the New York’s club circuit. Behind the boards, he pairs old-school house and techno sounds with a more new-school kitchen-sink mentality. He plays with reverence but without idolatry, paying homage to his favorite scenes without tying himself to them. A hopeless devotee and passionate fixture of the New York City rave underground, Nick is the founder of beloved Brooklyn based DIY label Sorry Records which has been putting out records from a wide variety of stand out folks from the American dance music underground for over in half a decade now. Nick is a long time resident on both The Lot Radio and 8 Ball Radio and has contributed mixes to Honcho Podcast, Rinse FM, and Spontaneous Affinity. He currently runs a monthly Sorry Records residency at Brooklyn techno institution Bossa Nova Civic Club and has played everywhere from Nowadays to North Carolina’s Slingshot Festival, Good Room to beloved Pittsburgh queer rave Jellyfish, FOURTH WORLD to long running Boston-based house music institution Social Studies, as well as made multiple appearances at The Carry Nation’s legendary residency party in NYC. Using a combination of rich recorded instrumentation and live manipulation, Omar Ahmad aims to invoke a proto-genre, natural atmosphere that envelopes his audience in a dark, ritualistic sense of community. He is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist whose desire to derive the essential elements of sound has grown towards found-sound immersions, globally-influenced musical storytelling, and lush atmospheric compositions with age. As a third culture musician, he often finds himself looking to voice his own state of being caught in between movements and never fully belonging to a singular sound or ideology. In 2023 he released his debut album, Inheritance, via AKP Recordings with critical acclaim including BandCamp's Best Ambient and DJ Mag's "Artist You Need to Hear" recognition. In addition to producing his own work, Ahmad is a contributing DJ at Laylit, the largest and fastest-growing contemporary Middle Eastern and North African music community in New York, and alongside Miss Alicia (Alicia Coleman), Ahmad co-founded Ūmboma, a recurring global dance series emphasizing African, Arab and Latin American contemporary rhythms.
