Makadsi continues to impress. This Brooklyn-based DJ/Producer, hailing from Zahle Lebanon, owns the underground scene with his signature sound merging Arabic influences over cross-genre sets. He is a resident and co-founder of FUNCTION, a space where he has cultivated a dance floor that honors the natural, vibrant diversity of New York City. NY’s BASEMENT dubbed Makadsi as the “rave activator”. 2025 saw Makadsi deepen his footprint across Europe. He returned to Glastonbury for a second year, this time on the IICON stage, and debuted at Horst Arts & Music Festival in Belgium. Summer took him from Honey Dijon's Chinois in Ibiza to Geggen x Pornceptual for Berlin Pride, Body Movements in London, the main stage at Madrid's MADO Pride, and Adonis for London Pride. French-German network ARTE profiled him for their Tracks series, spotlighting how he threads Arabic divas through techno beats. Back stateside, he played in the iconic Texas room for the 4th Annual Wire Festival in Brooklyn, NY further cementing his role in the heart of the city's underground. 2024 was no less impressive, with Makadsi’s debuts in Ibiza at Palmarama, Glastonbury Festival's iconic NY Downlow stage, Berlin's Pornceptual, Honey Dijon’s House Nation in Brooklyn, and NITSA's 30th birthday in Barcelona. 2023 was nothing short of monumental for Makadsi, taking FUNCTION on the road alongside Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. As the Creative Director and architect for the Renaissance album and Renaissance World Tour, he booked opening DJ acts featuring familiar darlings of the Queer Underground scene (Arca, Shygirl, and more). He ended the tour with his own opening set for Beyoncé's last show in Kansas City. Topping off the year, Makadsi opened for Madonna’s Celebration Tour in Brooklyn.Recently at Knockdown Center, Signal, public records · often with Sterling Juan Diaz, Markus, Concrete Husband, none of them here that night

the whole biography
At the age of 15, he found himself estranged from his immediate family. It was during this pivotal time that The House of Xtravaganza and Mustache Mondays played a crucial role in nurturing and exposing a young Rush X to the vibrant underground counterculture. These experiences not only shaped his identity but also honed his skills behind the decks and microphone, revealing his capacity to breathe life into the creative visions of his collaborators. His innate talent was further refined and expanded through mentorship under the guidance of Doriana Sanchez, a seasoned professional with a portfolio including works with Cher, Cirque Du Soleil, and SYTYCD. Through this mentorship, Rush transcended his limitations, gaining invaluable experience. Continuing to impact the artistic landscape, Rush serves as a creative director, steering the developmental paths of various artists. His portfolio (Serpentwithfeet, THEY, Afropunk) boasts an impressive array of achievements, spanning from steering album rollouts and music videos to shaping brand identities and live performances. As a revered producer and songwriter, Rush Davis has garnered notable credits collaborating with esteemed names such as Shaun Ross, Taraji P. Henson, Kelly Rowland, Afrojack, Tylah Yaweh, George Clinton, Duke Dumont, Tokimonsta, Kaytranada, SZA, Rochelle Jordan, Doja Cat, and many more. He shares two albums, "Transmission" and "XMSN DS," available across all streaming platforms, a testament to his enduring partnership and creative synergy with longtime friend and collaborator Kingdom, released under the YoungArt/FadeToMind label. His recent endeavors include venturing into event production with the establishment of his celebrated seasonal Tuesday party, "Never Forget A Face," in Downtown Los Angeles. Described as "A living altar dedicated to the queer nightlife architects that paved the way," this event stands as a testament to his commitment to honoring and celebrating influential figures in the nightlife scene. Adding to his achievements, Rush Davis graced the stage as the opening act for Beyoncé during the sold-out Renaissance World Tour in August 2023. Furthermore, he captivated another sold-out audience at the Hollywood Palladium, sharing the stage with Zhu. Notably, Rush also penned the latest single, "Lover/Friend,” for Kaytranada and Rochelle Jordan. With an indomitable presence in the underground scene, Rush Davis stands as an influential force to be reckoned with, consistently leaving an indelible mark on the world of artistry and entertainment.House on 8, Contemporary R&B on 4, Deep House on 3 and Nu-Disco on 2. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on HOMO-CENTRIC RECORDS (1) and Never Worry Records (1). labels on their catalogued releasesoften with Peter Napoli, Daniro, Nita Aviance, none of them here that night

FASHION - is an Asian American transsexual diva, designer, artist, and DJ based in NYC and sometimes Berlin. She would describe her musical style as an eclectic digital fusion: often combining the yin of trance (feminine, passive, chaos) and the yang of techno (masculine, active, order). Fashion is influenced heavily by her international identity, digital millennial upbringing, and the burgeoning cultural hub of New York which you can hear in her undefinable yet global sound.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Gitano NYC, The Chocolate Factory · often with Memphy, Markus, Shyboi, none of them here that night
