Petal Rose is a NY-native, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer just trying to figure their shit out. Born and raised by God-fearing Guyanese immigrants, music was never taken seriously unless it was in the context of the church. For lack of a better phrase, music became their god, and they’ve been a loyal worshiper ever since.Recently at Trans-Pecos, Rash, The House · often with CMD+JAZMINE, BBYGRL, EEVEE, none of them here that night

amita is a sonic chameleon, rooting their sound in heavy bass and genre pushing melodies. From breaks and electro; to jungle and footwork, they weave together sets that are for that exact moment. You may have heard amita at beloved NYC clubs like Public Records, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Central Park SummerStage, Mood Ring, Trans-Pecos, Market Hotel, Elsewhere and more. They have been featured on mixes with the Lot Radio, SWU/Rinse FM, Everyday Junglist, Room 303, Tokyo Beer Labs, and more. amita has supported artists like Laurie Anderson, LTJ Bukem, Takuya Nakamura, and more. they are a resident with Hong Kong Community Radio, hosting the show "futago". In their mixes, amita will invite artists and guests they admire creatively to go back to back. They will challenge themselves to match the style and energy of their guests, building a unique 60 minute musical experience every time. photo credit: shannon schultzRecently at Home Sweet Home, Sugar Hill Disco, Mood Ring · often with DJ eh, Gigi Rio, Kaili, none of them here that night
