Born in Germany, raised in the South, and now based in Brooklyn, NY, he has been curating soulful, deep, and sexy vibes since 2016. By 2019, he fully embraced his craft, blending soulful sounds that echo dimly lit dance floors, late-night basements, and unforgettable moments—music that moves both the mind and gets the floor stomping—alongside Detroit techno and disco edits. Through years of digging and collecting music, his sound has expanded into playful genres designed to make everyone in the crowd feel welcomed, while always maintaining a hard, driving drum that slams through the majority of the musical journey. Influenced by legends like Joe Claussell and Ron Trent, his music weaves a rich tapestry of joy, sensuality, and confidence. Though fashion and art have always been passions, nothing compares to the intoxicating power of music and dancing—where his heart beats loudest and his soul comes alive.Recently at public records, Rodeo, Honey's · often with Guarionex Jr, tinasnow, Tim Lucent, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Born & raised in San Francisco, CA, Zak Zodiak is a multi-disciplinary artist with a special love for dance, Capoeira, video, and DJing. In 2018 he encountered the House Music & dance scenes in the Bay Area through his initial teachers Coflo & Tsunami, and would then discover DJs such as Patrick Wilson, Nina Sol & PSoul (Elements Oakland), Jayvi Velasco (AfterAfter Hours), and David Harness (Mighty Real). After visiting NYC for the nightlife scene multiple times since 2021, captured by parties like Soul in the Horn & Shelter, in August 2023 he left his hometown for Brooklyn to dig deeper into the NYC club culture. Since then, he’s supported Rare Jordan’s ‘Forever Rare’ party as a content & media manager, hosted for Tyrone Francis’ BKNY party, and is a resident DJ with LoveCity’s Madness parties. He is also a member of the Bed-Stuy based DJ collective, Von Kings. He continues to work with his beloved Elements crew back in the Bay as a content creator & videographer.Recently at Jupiter Disco, Black Flamingo, Mood Ring · often with Bradford James, Silent H, Shan S Silent H, none of them here that night
