Gianluca Caiati, known by his stage name Kaiser, is a DJ and producer within the electronic music landscape. Born and raised in Southern Italy, his artistic path has carried him from his early beginnings to the vibrant city of Berlin, where he based himself from 2020 to 2025. Today, he divides his base between Italy and Portugal while still considering Berlin his home. From a young age, Kaiser showed a natural connection to music. Enchanted by the power of electronic sounds and the immersive environments they create, he gravitated toward techno and began refining his craft behind the decks. His talent and dedication quickly caught the attention of the international electronic music scene. Known for a signature sound that blends hypnotic rhythms with driving, pulsating basslines, Kaiser has become a sought-after performer in clubs and festivals across the globe. The energy, precision, and emotional charge of his sets have earned him a loyal following and a respected reputation within the community. Driven by a desire to contribute to the culture he cherishes, in 2017 Kaiser founded his own record label: K S R (Kaiser Sound Records). Having cut his teeth over the last decade coming up through Brooklyn’s warehouse scene, NYC-based Auspex has solidified himself as a regular fixture and contributor to its underground techno community, a DJ, producer, label boss and tireless organizer very much at home in the city's vibrant queer nightlife scene. Having made regular appearances over the years at such legendary parties like The Bunker, Merge and Unter, he soon found himself at the helm of the transcendent party ALTÆR when Basement emerged onto the club-scape. Now six years running, ALTÆR has become known for its immersive and music-driven line-ups, pulling the together some of the world’s best international techno and house talents. He’s also made frequent appearances in Berlin at venues like RSO , Griessmuehle and most recently Berghain, as well as appearances at underground functions like Pornceptual, Gegen and STAUB. Most recently, he launched his own techno imprint Templum to showcase his production work and some of the hottest and most prolific producers of hypnotic and raw techno working in the industry today. With a healthy and robust release calendar already in the pipeline, Templum is poised to become a major source of dance floor fire power in the months and years ahead. Musically, Auspex conjures techno as a space of collective hypnosis—with sets that move with fluid precision and driving percussion through intergalactic expanses, leading dancers through spiraling grooves and sensory depth, shaping an experience that’s equal parts body ritual and psychedelic voyage. Born and raised in west suburban Chicagoland, Shaun J. Wright spent most of their teen years immersed in the sounds of house music. In the late 80’s and early 90’s, house music was a powerful force, permeating the mainstream airwaves of Chicago’s most prominent radio stations. With Wright being raised in the epicenter of house culture during this era, their love for dance music began to expand throughout their high school years as they partook in the underground dance scene now globally known as Juke. While in undergrad at Morehouse College in Atlanta, they developed their skills as a dancer in the vogue ballroom scene and professional dance companies. After acquiring an MA Fashion Curation from the London College of Fashion, Wright enjoyed an active career in fashion in New York City. That is where they met Andrew Butler, founder of Hercules and Love Affair, in 2008, and began a whirlwind collaboration with the ensemble as a vocalist. They spent nearly three years touring with the outfit, performing in major venues & festivals throughout North & South America and Europe. They’re also featured prominently on the ensemble’s lauded sophomore album, “Blue Songs’. Returning to Chicago in 2012 to forge their solo career, Wright began to collaborate with respected DJ and producer Alinka. Promptly after beginning their party Twirl in the spring of 2013, Wright & Alinka released their first EP, Twirl Vol. 1, on the celebrated Classic Music Company led by luminaries Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter. They continued to expand upon the brand in late 2014 with their Twirl Records debut release “Journey Into The Deep” EP which included remixes from Kim Ann Foxman and Stereogamous. The label’s output has received much critical acclaim and has been supported by DJ Mag, XLR8R, Mixmag, BBC Radio 1’s Heidi and Annie Mac, and a plethora of notable DJ’s. Wright continues to collaborate with other sought after producers including Chrissy, Kiki, System Of Survival, Stereogamous Bell Boys, Bobmo, and Nicholas, and has been released on Freerange, BPitch Control, Honey Soundsystem & Cocktail D’Amore, Discovery, Marble, and 4Lux, respectively.
