Physical Therapy is the New Jersey born-and-raised producer/DJ, and head of the Allergy Season label. An Italian born cosmopolitan, Camilla has roamed the globe for over six years, fueled by her father’s legacy in Italy’s progressive rock scene. From Cuneo, her hometown, to Brooklyn,where she now resides, her DJ journey has embraced diverse communities, including the vibrant scenes of Turin, Lisbon, Boston, and particularly New York and Brooklyn. Camilla has performed in various clubs and parties in New York and worldwide, including the likes of Resolute, Public Records, Elsewhere, Sunday Sessions LA and Harbour in Lisbon. Oscillating between classic old-school records and cutting edge sounds, her sets (mostly on vinyl) encompass diverse styles of electronic music including house, techno, electro and breaks. Overall, her journeys tend to be spacey and acid-heavy, leaning into bass-driven, uplifting beats when the time is right. In 2021, Camilla launched Encrypted, a celebrated event series in New York. Encrypted parties cherish intimate locations and a welcoming atmosphere, long DJ sets and international bookings paired with local talent. Artists booked include Giammarco Orsini, Anderson, Cristian Sarde, Unai Trotti and Matthias. This project is pawing the way for an upcoming record label, coming in the near future.
