Maurice Fulton is one of house music’s true originals, an eccentric ex-pat American (currently living in Melbourne) DJ and producer who never fails to surprise and delight his listeners. His first album since the leftfield Stories Of A Broken Heart And Recovering which he recorded as Ladyvipb (for Nuphonic) is an altogether more accessible and dancefloor friendly affair... Maurice Fulton has been round the block in more ways than one, not only did he have a hand in producing Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters, one of the most successful house tunes of the early ‘90s; he is the darling of both the underground house and leftfield scenes with an enviable back catalogue, he also has a capacity for landing himself ‘in the soup’. Maurice is one of those hapless individuals to which trouble swarms like wasps to a honey pot. His most recent ‘situation’ saw him arrive home to find his record collection had been sold by his jealous girlfriend who, after discovering an unsolicited e-mail from a lady fan, suspected him of playing away from home. If it’s going to happen to someone, it’s going to happen to Maurice Fulton.Their RA profile lists Warp Records, Sonar Kollektiv, Output Recordings, Tigersushi and 1 more.Recently at Signal, House of Yes, Le Bain · often with Just Martín, Morgan, The Alley, none of them here that night

Native to New York, musclecars is a DJ / Producer duo consisting of Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield. As musicians, they equally share an admiration for the art form. Their desire to blend genres and express their appreciation for music is focused around their community- the end goal is to bring people together. Through a regular stream of high quality mixes and multiple outstanding releases, they’re constantly turning heads in underground circles. In 2018 they launched ‘Coloring Lessons’, a party that was aimed to add value to their city’s nightlife culture. While the party and sound is not genre specific, it is heavily focused around house, disco, jazz, and soul, embracing the musical elements of their black and brown ancestors. The monthly party's intention is to bring New York City's dance music scene back to what it was during the golden era of NY nightlife. They aim to spread the music that has been influential to them, and share it with a younger generation of their peers. In 2020 the pair launched the label Coloring Lessons Records. The label, like the party, is intended on building up artists from their city and beyond, with the sound indicative of the Coloring Lessons ethos- which is sharing music created and inspired by their ancestors of color, and teaching younger generations about the roots of this music.House on 20, Deep House on 18, Broken Beat on 3 and Future Jazz on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Brownswood Recordings (1), Love Injection Records (3) (1) and Luaka Bop (1); their RA profile also lists BBE and Toucan Sounds. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Mo's Bar, Nowadays, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Toribio, Love Injection, moe., none of them here that night
“Errol is one of the UK's most compelling, contemporary musical voices: DJ, broadcaster, music curator and founder of Touching Bass.”

the whole biography
Errol is one of the UK's most compelling, contemporary musical voices: DJ, broadcaster, music curator and founder of Touching Bass. Underpinning it all is a passion for promoting the eclecticism of Black music as well as the culture and community behind it, with roots firmly anchored in his Caribbean heritage. His DJ sets are known for feeling beautifully loose, searching and soulful; unrestricted by genre and anchored by groove. Over the past few years, the London-born artist has taken this free-wheeling approach across the world - from gracing Berlin’s Panorama Bar, Glastonbury and Horst to multiple tours of Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Along the way, there have also been wheel-ups on King Jammy’s legendary dancehall soundsystem in Kingston, as well as warm-up slots for the likes of Erykah Badu, Tony Allen (RIP), Flying Lotus and Yussef Dayes. In 2022, Errol was included in The Face Magazine’s New Guard: a list of the UK’s 50 most influential individuals shaping the future of nightlife in the city. At the helm of Touching Bass, he has steadily established one of London’s most important musical incubators alongside his partner, Alex Rita. For the past seven years, it has quietly gained cult status for its intention, community spirit and musical eclecticism. More than a South London-based club night, NTS Radio staple, award-nominated record label, concert series at The Barbican and curatorial studio, Touching Bass has slow-cooked to become a meeting ground for music lovers and some of the most exciting contemporary and well-respected artists both in the capital and beyond. Errol considers himself a music curator at heart. As host and music programmer for Boiler Room, he played a pivotal role in bringing some of the world’s best live and DJ acts to the fore. From spearheading the UK jazz explosion in its early stages (Yussef Kamaal, Nubya Garcia, KOKOROKO) to collaborating with Saul Williams across London, New York and Miami (including an appearance from Yasiin Bey) and introducing the likes of Khruangbin, Anderson Paak, Mala, Nick Hakim and many more to millions online. His work has since expanded to film music supervision, including work with Ronan McKenzie and Joy Yamusangie for WATA (2020) and co-curating the soundtrack for Black To Techno (2019); the Gucci-supported, experimental documentary by multi-award winning director, Jenn Nkiru, which premiered at Frieze Los Angeles and was nominated for ‘Best Short’ at the IDA Awards. Through 2021-2023, that curation elevated and stretched further across music, fashion and art. As lead music curator and project manager at 180 Strand, he ushered in projects with visionaries including Gabriel Moses and Julianknxx. London’s White Cube have commissioned Errol and Touching Bass for Frieze London twice; developing immersive live experiences in response to Ibrahim Mahama’s 'Lazarus' and Julie Mehretu’s 'They departed for their own country another way (a 9x9x9 hauntology)' respectively. Most recently, audiophile legend Devon Ojas partnered with Touching Bass for his residency at Lisson Gallery, alongside a handpicked selection of legendary labels including Blue Note and Luaka Bop (David Byrne, Pharoah Sanders). In doing so, Errol and Touching Bass have been recognised by the likes of the Resident Advisor, i-D, Mixmag, CRACK, Another Magazine, Complex, BBC, Japan’s POPEYE, The Design Museum and THE FACE, who called him ‘a tastemaker for both the past, present and future of soulful and electronic music’.Their RA profile lists Touching Bass.Recently at public records, Good Room · often with Shy One, Donis, Brother Portrait, none of them here that night
“Bridge is a Brooklyn-based DJ and performer who transforms the dancefloor into a shared stage.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Bridge is a Brooklyn-based DJ and performer who transforms the dancefloor into a shared stage. In her world, the audience becomes part of the spectacle, invited to shine, to feel powerful, expressive, and fully themselves. For Bridge, House and Disco are not simply genres, they are vehicles for freedom and collective celebration. Born in Italy and shaped by a global perspective, she brings a deeply rooted sound to international stages, paying homage to the Black and queer origins of the music she loves while bridging its legacy to modern dance floors. Rooted in classic and gospel house, disco, and ballroom, her sets are transportive, vocally driven experiences where presence, movement, and energy are all intentional parts of the show. Rather than following the conventional DJ-producer path, Bridge has carved a distinct journey centered on curation, performance, and storytelling. Her fluid genre-blending and magnetic stage presence have earned the attention of artists like Stacey Hotwaxxhale, Natasha Diggs, Joey Llanos, David DePino, and Barbara Tucker. Bridge is the founder of UPLIFTED, a party series rooted in joy, liberation, and the deep legacy of Black house music, and co-founder of Powerhaus, a Brooklyn-based house music collective. Her sound has been heard at Knockdown Center, Public Records, Nowadays, The Lot Radio, and more.Recently at Ciao Ciao, Mood Ring, Jupiter Disco · often with CRVM, Wolf Spritzer, DJ Shannon, none of them here that night
