their own biography
the whole biography
Coming from humble beginnings, Tim was unable to afford CD players. He thus spent much of his growing up years collecting used cassettes, and in the early 2000s, he saved what little money he had to purchase his first pair of [pre-owned] CDJs, a basic two channel mixer, and taught himself how to mix. An avid fan of genres such as soul, funk, disco and deep house, Tim would listen to various artists and discover new music at his local record store. He considers Giorgio Moroder, Larry Heard, Kerri Chandler and Dennis Ferrer as his major musical influences. Tim incorporates several indigenous instruments to his productions, reflecting his tropical roots. He also adds atmospheric sounds to his compositions, resulting in a warm, laid-back and refreshing feel to electronic music. His work provides the listener a unique and uplifting experience, reminiscent of watching the sun rise on a pristine beach.Their RA profile lists 917 Records.Recently at SILO, Mood Ring · often with RICK E, In The Red, TORSK, none of them here that night
