Chris Lewis is a revered New York-based DJ and selector, known for crafting transformative sonic journeys that fuse House, Techno, Breaks, and Trance into a seamless, soul-moving experience. A true Jedi master of musical curation, Chris has spent decades shaping dance floors across the globe with his signature blend of power, precision, and passion. His origin story begins in Chicago, 1987—a chance visit to former college roommates turned into a life-altering immersion in the birthplace of House. Frequenting legendary clubs and absorbing sets by icons like Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, and “Jumpin” Julian Perez, Chris found himself at the epicenter of a cultural revolution. The sounds of Chicago House and Detroit Techno became encoded in his DNA, laying the foundation for a lifelong devotion to the craft. Returning to NYC in 1989, Chris launched his DJ career with a mission: to move bodies and elevate spirits. His residencies span iconic venues coast to coast—from Prince’s Glam Slam in Los Angeles to Metropolis Irvine, CA, The Roxy, NYC, Keybar in Brooklyn, Bar None in Hoboken. He’s graced the decks at Webster Hall, The Tunnel, Nowadays, and international hotspots in Venezuela, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Canada. Chris has shared the booth with legends including Victor Simonelli, Timo Maas, Sandra Collins, Doc Martin, Frankie Bones, and DJ Disciple. His sets are praised for their genre-fluidity and emotional depth, effortlessly weaving Afro House, Deep Tech, Nu Disco, Tribal, Techno, Dub House Disco,, Breaks and Classic NYC vibes into hypnotic, high-energy performances. Currently, Chris holds monthly residencies at KEYBAR in Bushwick—where he helms the ever sparkling “GLITTERATI!” party, featuring dub house disco, nu disco, deep and NYC classic house vibes. THE KEEP in Ridgewood, NY, showcasing a broader spectrum of house and techno flavors. He’s a regular at rooftop venues in Times Square and waterfront spots in Connecticut.. Upcoming appearances including House of Glass alongside Mike Clark “Agent X” and Rissa Garcia, DISTRICT APPLE at MADRADIO April 17th, MOVEMENT, May 22nd, and Torture Chamber at Bossa Nova Civic Club in July. In October, he returns to Medellín, Colombia, continuing his global journey. Fans and fellow DJs follow his weekly hype chart of future house and techno hits, published every Wednesday on Instagram and Facebook—has become a trusted source for what’s next in underground dance music. “For me, it’s all about sharing music that makes an unforgettable impact and moves people. Fusing techno, house, breaks, and trance into a seamless flow—mixing from power to power—is what I strive for. Journey by DJ isn’t just a concept. It’s a mantra.”

A devotee of the late-night-into-early-morning-into-late-afternoon party, Kristen gravitates toward genre-expansive DJs who take their dancers on long, world-bending journeys through all shades of music (not just electronic). Outside of DJing, Kristen is deeply immersed in NYC’s live music scene, a passion that heavily informs her sets. While her selections are steeped in traditional and modern jazz influences, she loves to weave in elements of commercial/hyperpop, future garage, funk, and classic house—building her sets more around “vibes” than around certain genres. If she’s not behind the decks, she will 100% be dancing. This was, in part, the inspiration behind co-founding Dancing in Socks with Szobi—a bi-monthly party series and online community built around getting back building communities through dancefloors.
