Though she champions African inspired house, DESIREE is not limited to that style alone and prides herself on her eclectic tastes. As anyone who has experienced her in action will attest, she’s a nimble dancer with impeccable selecting skills. From deep house to techno, soulful cuts and that irresistible deep African vibration, it’s all in there. On the production tip, she unveiled her debut EP Femme Tech on Jackie Queens’ Bae Electronica in June 2022. This was followed by a remix of ‘Pussy Power’ by Keinemusik (feat. Nomi Ruiz). DESIREE is an intersex woman, born with chromosomal patterns that are male. The term intersex represents a broad specturm of non-binary biological characteristics and DESIREE is using her success to speak proudly about the condition.Their RA profile lists Xpressed Records.Recently at Elsewhere, 99 Scott Ave, The 1896 · often with Jimi Jules, Trikk, Âme, none of them here that night

Born in Grenoble, France, and raised in Montreal from the age of seven, KARABA first made her mark as a professional dancer, performing in cultural hubs like New York and Los Angeles. Her talent led her to work alongside major artists such as Drake, Camila Cabello, Selena Gomez and Chris Brown. In 2016, KARABA pivoted toward focusing on DJing and music production. With an ear for rare and captivating sounds, she quickly developed a signature style that fuses deep, hypnotic rhythms with a global sonic palette. KARABA’s genre-defying sets have earned her a place on some of the world’s biggest stages, with performances spanning North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. She is currently in the midst of a global tour, captivating audiences with her pulsating beats and magnetic stage presence. Along the way, she has opened for powerhouse acts like Aluna, Sara Landry and Rampa, further cementing her reputation as a rising star in electronic music. Her 2024 single “Mad Mess” earned a Juno Award nomination for Underground Dance Single of the Year, solidifying her impact on the underground dance scene. As she continues to push creative boundaries, KARABA is preparing to release her third EP, a deep dive into the darker, more hypnotic side of Afro house. With a relentless drive and a sound that transcends borders, KARABA is redefining the landscape of contemporary dance music—one electrifying set at a time.often with DJ PERIODT, CLEO, ⫸ Stations, none of them here that night
