the whole biography
Preacher’s Daughter is a DJ, sound artist, and writer whose practice is rooted in curation as storytelling. Guided by rhythm, tension, and release, her sets unfold patiently, allowing atmosphere, percussion, and emotional movement to shape the dance floor. Moving through rhythm, texture, and tension, she builds sets that carry lineage, politics, cultural memory, and a coherent emotional world. She builds immersive dancefloors that reward close listening as much as physical and internal movement. Her selections prioritize texture, negative space, and raw rhythmic energy, inviting dancers into moments of reflection, collective intensity, and transformation.Recently at Rash, Bossa Nova Civic Club, The Living Gallery · often with LTE, Astriks, kyxm, none of them here that night
