DJ, producer, music supervisor, chef, and TV host – Matt FX is the definitive multihyphenate. Referred to as a “musical polymath” by Forbes and a “NYC nightlife institution” by VICE, he first shot to fame as the mind behind the soundtrack of the hit Comedy Central TV show BROAD CITY, as well as for his appearances on VICE News Tonight and the Food Network. No lightweight in the kitchen either, Matt co-founded "underground fried chicken sandwich racket" DUBPLATE NYC, dubbed the 'best fried chicken sandwich of all time' by Busboy.co As a DJ, Matt approaches each and every set with an irreverence that the New York Times calls “interesting social commentary on multiple levels” and has shared lineups with artists as varied as Soul Clap and Disclosure to Snoop Dogg and Demi Lovato. His latest projects include releases with Kitsune Musique, Wolf + Lamb, and Sorry Records, with plenty more slated for release over the next year.House on 3, Acid House on 1, Disco on 1 and Experimental on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Non-Friction Records (4) and Northern Spy (1); their RA profile also lists Kitsuné Musique, Wolf + Lamb, Sorry Records and Toucan Sounds. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Jupiter Disco, Signal, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Mona Matsuoka, Kristos, Tim Lucent, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Seb Hall is a Los Angeles-based producer and DJ with a penchant for crafting dreamy and melodic dance floor cuts harnessing analog gear. His background as a musician began at an early age on the piano and later exploring the guitar, bass, and just about any instrument he could get his hands on. Hall's style is smooth and expresses a breezy laid back motif, ascribed to a lifetime awash in the sun of Southern California. His live show is composed of a collection of drum machines, analog synthesizers, and odd guitar pedals all running through MPCs. The outcome is a soulful journey that rises and falls like the tide. Hall blends up his own version of house and disco with a splash of acid house to keep things controversial. As a DJ, his daring range of selections mirror his honed technical abilities when he's on the decks.Their RA profile lists Lips & Rhythm Records.Recently at public records, Apollo Studio, H0L0 · often with Sasta, Kiyoshi, Kurilo, none of them here that night
