Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, @SteenSchmidt is a house and techno DJ, blues rock guitar player, and singer. He has performed in clubs, bars, and toured statewide. He has recorded as a songwriter, guitarist, and singer since he was 13 years young. Along with clubbing since he was 18, Steen is familiar with the NYC underground scene. Years later, he began djing parties and venues around Brooklyn having residencies at Happyfun Hideaway, SILO, Rash, and many more. Steen hosts open decks at SILO for over a year, and also at Happyfun Hideaway for over three years, in which he collaborates with many local DJs to help many beginner DJs get experience or get used to playing live. His party series Debauch has featured artists Frankie Bones, Kush Jones, Concrete Husband, S'aint Panic, Alissa Brianna, SPF50, MZ3, and more in underground venues, SILO, Jupiter Disco, and Earthly Delights. His DJ performances range from classic, deep and tech house to raw, deep, hypnotic and hard techno, along with elements of electro, breaks and more.Recently at SILO, Happyfun Hideaway, Earthly Delights · often with Ben Zo, ceviché, Adam Hadari, none of them here that night

SPF 50’s music weaves a kaleidoscopic tapestry of lush atmospherics, precise, percussive momentum and skittish euphoria. With a keen sense for narration, his music draws on deeper strains of techno, at times veering into syncopated bass pressure, to sculpt a hypnotic sonic world to immerse oneself in. His live set delves into deep psychedelia, creating raw moments on the dancefloor while never losing sight of the playful and blissed out. Originally from Sweden but living in Brooklyn, he is a resident of underground party Bob & Shirley. His EP ‘Ett Inre Rum’ comes out on Bliss Point in September 2026 and takes further aim on the eyes-closed inward journey, fueled by hypnotic repetition and an ear for spatial, textured sound design.Techno on 5, Acid on 4, House on 4 and Deep House on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Bliss Point (1), Dzungla (1) and Fixed Rhythms (1); their RA profile also lists Acacia Baila. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Honey's, public records, Mansions · often with Albert_, Fernelly, G-Style, none of them here that night
