j@pluralartistmanagement.com Bapari is a musical force known for their heady dance tracks, cheekily disruptive pop edits, and hard-hitting DJ sets that blend techno, jungle, garage, club, hip-hop, and IDM in unexpected ways. A Grammy-award winning producer for their work on Eusexua by FKA twig's, Bapari pushes experimentation within electronic music to the edge, exploring all outcomes, from unique underground club tracks to evocative sonic landscapes. Bapari’s most recent project “Evermore” (Halcyon Veil, 2025) saw them pick up the mic and live guitar, featuring Ari’s hauntingly original vocals for the first time while exploring ‘90s influences of shoegaze, trip hop, and R&B. Born in Los Angeles to Haitian immigrants, Bapari found their way into music as a DJ in downtown LA’s underground party scene in the mid-2010s. Since then, They have released four EPs; collaborated with FKA Twigs, Eartheater, Kelsey Lu, Lolahol, and more; opened for Steve Lacy in Australia and Japan; and toured extensively as a DJ in North America, Europe, and Asia. Their work has been featured in DJ mag, Mixmag, Highsnobiety, Interview, Flaunt, Dancewax, and Resident Advisor, which named their 2021 track “Daybreak” a best-of-the-year. Touring highlights include headlining Boiler Room five times; festival appearances at Sonic Acts, Dweller, and Primavera; museum shows at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London) and MoCA (Los Angeles); and club nights at Knockdown Center (NYC), Tresor (Berlin), Parkingstone (Paris), Mitsuki (Tokyo), Le Fag (Melbourne), Spiritual Sauna (Milan), TUNNEL (LA), and many more. Bapari has shared lineups with artists like Shygirl, Yves Tumor, LSDXOXO, and horsegiirL. Their music has been featured in campaigns for the fashion brands YSL Beauty, Melissa Shoes, I.AM.GIA, Barragán, Marshall Columbia, and Wildfang; the smart ring company Oura; and the NFT platform Foundation. Launching to prominence out of Herrensauna's infamous underground parties, CEM has forged a singular path as an fierce club DJ unafraid of turning the dancefloor moody. CEM's unique brand of emotive hysteria was forged in Herrensauna's hedonistic Berlin furnace in the last few years, and as one of the party's three core members, he has been at the heart of the operations since its inception. With the party attracting more and more attention for its critical contribution to Berlin's queer community, as well as their raw italo-metal aesthetic, the opportunity came to move into Tresor, where it has cemented its place as a unique addition to Berlin's nocturnal topography. CEM's role in all this is twofold—firstly, as curator of the party's unique mix of frenetic DJs and industrial-edged live performances; and secondly, as one of the resident DJs. The sheer pace of Herrensauna's preferred grade of techno is offset by his enigmatic presence and selection. It's a crucial edge of the party, and it's rightfully brought CEM to the world's attention. With a preference for UK-tweaked tracks from across the contemporary milieu of harder club works, nor with a fear of breakbeats or sullen moments, he's a rare species of DJ that seeds intensity in even the most hesitant of movers. Jacob Meehan is a Chicago-raised, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and cultural curator whose sound blends the soulful groove of American house with the untamed edge of Berlin. Rooted in Chicago’s legacy, from WLUW 88.7FM to Gramaphone Records to Smart Bar, his style channels the lessons of Derrick Carter, Frankie Knuckles, and Michael Serafini into playful sets that move between house, techno, disco, and ambient. Since relocating to Berlin in 2016, Meehan has become a vital figure in the city’s queer nightlife as co-curator of Buttons and WHOLE Festival, shaping spaces where curiosity and community collide. Alongside the dance floor, he explores ambient music as a resident at KWIA listening bar and through yoga nidra sessions that expand his relationship with sound into the wellness realm. Meehan also curates the ambient stage at WHOLE. His productions resonate eclectic energy: “Hier” (Major Records) introduced his voice as a producer, while “Old Reliable” — features archival gay porn audio from Chicago’s Bijou Theater — landed on a Nervous Records compilation curated by The Carry Nation. Recent studio work includes a collaboration with NYC’s Physical Therapy, with more releases around the corner. This autumn and winter, Meehan is deep in the studio, working on a wave of new music set to define his next chapter.
