IgP is a New York City based Afro House and Afro Tech selector and producer whose work sits at the intersection of rhythm, identity, and intention. With roots deeply embedded in the city’s underground scene, IgP has cultivated a sound that honors the global lineage of dance music while pushing toward a future that feels emotionally resonant, culturally grounded, and unmistakably personal. Known for curating immersive journeys rather than simply playing tracks, IgP’s sets move fluidly through soulful percussion, hypnotic basslines, textured synth work, and spiritual grooves. His approach to DJing is rooted in storytelling reading the room with care, building tension with patience, and releasing energy with purpose. Whether performing in intimate club settings or community-driven spaces, IgP creates environments where people feel seen, connected, and free. As a producer, IgP channels the same intentionality into his original work. His tracks explore the edges of Afro House and Afro Tech, blending emotional depth with forward-thinking sound design.
