“Bridge is a Brooklyn-based DJ and performer who transforms the dancefloor into a shared stage.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Bridge is a Brooklyn-based DJ and performer who transforms the dancefloor into a shared stage. In her world, the audience becomes part of the spectacle, invited to shine, to feel powerful, expressive, and fully themselves. For Bridge, House and Disco are not simply genres, they are vehicles for freedom and collective celebration. Born in Italy and shaped by a global perspective, she brings a deeply rooted sound to international stages, paying homage to the Black and queer origins of the music she loves while bridging its legacy to modern dance floors. Rooted in classic and gospel house, disco, and ballroom, her sets are transportive, vocally driven experiences where presence, movement, and energy are all intentional parts of the show. Rather than following the conventional DJ-producer path, Bridge has carved a distinct journey centered on curation, performance, and storytelling. Her fluid genre-blending and magnetic stage presence have earned the attention of artists like Stacey Hotwaxxhale, Natasha Diggs, Joey Llanos, David DePino, and Barbara Tucker. Bridge is the founder of UPLIFTED, a party series rooted in joy, liberation, and the deep legacy of Black house music, and co-founder of Powerhaus, a Brooklyn-based house music collective. Her sound has been heard at Knockdown Center, Public Records, Nowadays, The Lot Radio, and more.Recently at Dead Letter No. 9, Elsewhere, Superior Ingredients · often with CRVM, Wolf Spritzer, DJ Shannon, none of them here that night

“ọba+flip is a DJ duo based in Brooklyn, New York.”
their own biography
the whole biography
ọba+flip is a DJ duo based in Brooklyn, New York. They met at an underground techno party in 2017—a connection that blossomed into a partnership in love and music. They’ve been playing together since 2020, turning what began as a shared hobby into a powerful way to express their deep affection for music and commitment to each other. “ọba” means “king” in Yoruba, the first language of ọba’s mother, while “flip” nods to the flip phone she still carried when they met—as well as their shared desire to “flip things up.” Together, they merge their unique lived experiences to provide uplifting, hard-driving sounds with space and groove. Their craft is a testament to their adaptability, effortlessly matching and elevating the energy of the room with a range of house, techno, and everything in between.
