Ben Sterling (Planet X) UK favorite Ben Sterling is an artist on the brink of a major breakout, transcending the 'rising act' label that followed him throughout his early career and coming into his own as an internationally renowned name in his own right. Hailing from London, Ben has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting and versatile names in the electronic circuit. As the label boss at Planet X, Ben is not only shaping his own take on contemporary house music but also crafting a unique identity that resonates on a global scale. With a string of impressive early releases via leading labels, 2022 marked a pivotal year in Ben's career, with his electrifying remix of Tiga's iconic 'Mind Dimension' propelling him to the forefront of the international scene. The remix quickly became one of the most celebrated records of the year, solidifying his reputation as a creative force in the industry, and serving as a testament to Ben's ability to blend innovation with his deep-seated roots in the UK's vibrant electronic scene. Ben's production work has reached new heights over recent years, with releases on iconic labels like Diynamic and Crosstown Rebels, while maintaining a strong connection to the UK. His material on legendary imprints such as Bushwacka!'s OBLONG and current powerhouses such as Solid Grooves demonstrate his commitment to honoring the foundational sounds that have shaped him. His early influences, including the seminal tech house sounds of Housey Doingz and pioneers such as Terry Francis and Nathan Coles, and the dynamic world of electro-dance music, continue to inform his evolving style. In addition to his production success, Ben's Planet X record label and event series have become cornerstones of his artistic vision. With future evolutions of the events in the works, leaning towards conceptual experiences, the project reflects Ben's forward-thinking approach to music and live performances, while honoring the white label and edits ecosystem with his sub-imprint, X-Files. A regular fixture in Ibiza's elite club circuit, Ben has become a mainstay at events like Solid Grooves, Paradise, and Music On. His ability to adapt and thrive in diverse musical environments has seen him share the decks with a wealth of industry heavyweights, showcasing his ever-increasing versatility as a DJ. “Some DJs burst upon the scene like a supernova, fading just as quickly.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Some DJs burst upon the scene like a supernova, fading just as quickly. Others take years, even decades, to make their way—but those are the ones who make the most impact, thanks to a lifetime of accumulated musical wisdom. Mike Servito is a prime example of the latter. His career is one that’s defined by a slow and steady rise to upper ranks of the deejaying realm—and along the way, he’s perfected a jacking style that equal parts house, acid and techno, a sound that pays homage to the past while being very much of-the-moment. A Detroit-area native, Servito got his early education by tuning into the Electrifying Mojo and the Wizard (Jeff Mill’s radio moniker). By the early ’90s, Servito was primed to try his hand at the deejaying arts, “I was just kind of cocky about it,” he says. “I knew I could do it.” And he was right—in the DJ hotbed of Detroit, internalizing knowledge gleamed from the likes of Mike Huckaby and Claude Young, he kept working at it until he established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Motor City circuit, eventually becoming a member in good standing with the inner circle of Ghostly International. But Servito felt the need for a change from the sometimes insular environment of Detroit. By the late ’00s, he was living in NYC with no real game plan in place. As it turned out, he didn’t really need one—he soon fell in with the city’s premier techno party, The Bunker, becoming one of its mainstay residents. Around the same time, he was beginning to make his presence known on a global scale, packing dance floors with gigs around the States and around the world. But it was a hometown festival snub in 2014 that really got things going. Servito had played Movement once before, in 2011. “And between then and 2014,” he recalls, “I had been playing so many Bunker parties, playing so many great gigs and my profile was rising—so I was sure they would book me again.” The invite never came. Instead, he booked himself at every Movement after-party he could, one of which was the annual No Way Back, a legendary throw down hosted by The Bunker New York and Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions label. The set, a riotously sweaty bleeps-and-beats affair, was recorded for posterity; unexpectedly but deservedly, it garnered a nod as the year’s No 1 online Mix of the Year on Resident Advisor. That was the spark that set Servito’s career aflame, the push that took him to the top. Since then, he’s cemented his status as one of the most respected spinners around, regularly manning the decks at such hallowed halls as Berlin’s Panorama Bar, London’s XOYO and Tokyo’s Contact, not to mention the world’s best festivals—including, of course Movement. And to this day, his approach to deejaying is refreshingly simple: “I really don’t think about it,” he says, “When I’m playing, I just dive in, and I’m OK.” He’s far more than okay—he’s one of the best around.Techno on 7, Acid on 5, House on 5 and Acid House on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on The Bunker New York (2) and Interdimensional Transmissions (1); their RA profile also lists Firehouse and Honey Soundsystem. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at BASEMENT, Signal, Paragon · often with Shaun J. Nata all’ombra delle vele di Scampia, quartiere difficile alla periferia di Napoli. Born under the shade of the sails of Scampia, difficult neighborhood at the periphery of Naples. Born in 1980, she embarked on a career in the music world working very hard , starting as a waitress in many clubs and then as a dancer for several years. When she was a teenager she moved to Northern Italy for the high school, started a route into the world of fashion industry studying to become a fashion designer, but soon she understands that his path was in a completely different direction, enthusiasm for the night life in the local gave her the right reason to start a journey that now counts a lot of people who appreciate her , first of all for her talent. Came back soon to live in her hometown, Naples, she met Giuseppe Cennamo, DJ and producer from Naples (Desolat - Sci + Tech - 8bit - Carillon), who led Deborah to work on her knowledge into new music genres and trends, giving shape to a charisma that immediately has worked hard with productions signed by her as Sola_mente Records label founded in March 2013 , which today relies on collaborators such as Dj Simi and Giorgio Rusconi. Her tracks also found positive results in well-known names in the world of DJing, as Magda , Dj Ralf, Someone Else and Layo & Buswaka. Her music in a few years, became a high quality brand, a good fusion of hard techno and minimal sounds without ever being common . All of this is synonymous with passion and strong personality. Today, Deborah De Luca plays in many clubs all over the world: France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, Morocco, Slovenia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Armenia, Russia,America and continues to produce always fresh and innovative music , although she doesn't belong to any musical trend , but conciliates always different tastes.Their RA profile lists Fahrenheit Music.Last at Avant Gardner in May · often with Rad.Lez, Mattia Saviolo, BIIA, none of them here that night
“Dee Diggs is a DJ, music producer, and creative multi-hyphenate based in Brooklyn, NY.”

the whole biography
Dee Diggs is a DJ, music producer, and creative multi-hyphenate based in Brooklyn, NY. She is unapologetically black, queer, and a lifelong student of the tenets of House Music. Every single set by this connoisseur feels like a celebration – a celebration of club culture, of queerness, of community, of house and techno, and of house and techno's Black and Queer American innovators. Her energetic, yet deep approach to DJing has seen this Boston to Brooklyn transplant first garnering attention in the queer party scene of NYC and now lighting up dancefloors all over the world with regular European and international tours. Her aim has always been to contribute & sustain more spaces where marginalized groups are valued and thanked by name for their contributions to humanity. Thank the ORIGINAL Black innovators of House & Techno! Thank you, Disco and Ballroom Queens & Queers and Club Kids alike for the theatrics & fanfare of nightlife as we know it! There are homages to these origins alluded to in all things 'Dee Diggs', from the aesthetics to the sharing of the referential and varied tracks that fill her most noteworthy mixes, to her own original music! She’s known for releasing standout mixes for the likes of Daisychain, Honcho, and Dekmantel over the past couple of years. Her musical adventures spanning all possible genres, the common denominator here is Dee Diggs’ unrivaled taste. Her sound cuts an arch through dance music’s past and present to convey an interesting melding of Dee’s signature sounds: lyrical storied tracks, sensual club edits, soulful realness, sneaky grooves, passionate thumpers, and nostalgic endings. Her eponymous party, House of Diggs debuted in February 2020 to stir and settle the hearts of all the lovers of house, funk, soul, disco, and R&B in Brooklyn, before the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent club closings curtailed that momentum for 1.5 years. However, 2021, found her making strides again when she resumed curating House of Diggs as a semi-regular event series at Jupiter Disco, a rotary-focused intimate dance floor in Bushwick before her touring DJ schedule ramped up intensely. She currently holds and curates a seasonal DJ residency at a hi-fi nightclub in Gowanus, BK named Public Records. House of Diggs makes an appearance yearly around PRIDE to take over all 3 rooms of Public Records with Queer Imagination and Sonic Pleasure! Diggs' steady rise continues as she steps in to headline many club and festival lineups in 2023 and beyond. The east coast darling bares her soul on these decks — when you hear her, you feel her, and there is no mistaking the beauty and grit of this sound and this feeling!House on 6, Deep House on 4, Techno on 1 and Broken Beat on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on toucan sounds (2), Dekmantel (1) and Find Your Own (1). labels on their catalogued releasesRecently at Good Room, BASEMENT, Knockdown Center · often with Kilopatrah Jones, Nita Aviance, Ron Like Hell, none of them here that night

“No one unites a club like Kerri Chandler.”
their own biography
the whole biography
No one unites a club like Kerri Chandler. No one’s kick kicks harder. No one’s keys carry more emotion. No crowd reacts with more energy than when the New Jersey great is behind the decks.. His life-long obsession with sound makes him famously meticulous about the setups of the clubs he plays, and that always results in electrifying sets of soulful, authentic, positive house music. Chandler has unquestionably helped shape the house landscape, not only from the booth and the studio, but also as an A&R. His Kaoz Theory label has worked with contemporary talents like Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers, while his influential MadHouse Records has just celebrated 25 years of agenda setting releases with a storytelling anniversary album. Proving he is at the vanguard of the scene are his critically acclaimed back-to-back sets with French protégé Jeremy Underground as Underground Kaoz at flagship festivals. His residency at the world famous DC10 and an ever full DJ diary that takes him on endless trips around the world are also testament to his on going vitality as an artist. Next to various awards and recognitions for his outstanding contribution to house music in recent years, Kerri has been on the cover of Mixmag, DJ Mag (UK and USA), and featured on Resident Advisor’s respected The Hour podcast series. In 2017, he served up a standout entry into the hallowed DJ-kicks mix series with a seamless selection featuring his own keys over an autobiographical and hugely personal mix that was like spending an afternoon in his living room with the man himself. Of course, Chandler came up in a different era, when no one cared about genres and all that mattered was bringing people together. His hometown was a cultural melting pot with different scenes round every corner, from funk to soul, jazz to hip hop. Those essential early learnings have stayed with him and mean he remains one of house music’s must see acts. He is someone who can join the dots and take you on a true musical adventure. He never fails to draw unreserved reactions from the dance floors he plays to, and always with a beaming smile of his own. As a producer, he is just as vital and unmatched, having started out as an impossibly young man working in studios. From his 1990 debut right up the present day, his peerless discography reads like an evolution of deep, soulful house music. Rather than mechanical grooves, he lays down spiritual rhythms that permeate every part of your body. He combines powerful, driving drums with heart swelling hooks to devastating effect. He is affectionately known as the ‘Stevie Wonder of house music,’ and for good, reason: over the years, he has laid down countless timeless tracks and albums that exude a rich musicality, brim with character and reach way outside the confines of the dance floor for their inspiration. His definitive cuts on labels like Atlantic, King Street Sounds, Nervous and his own Madhouse have spawned legions of copycats and generation after generation of new fans. Kerri Chandler, then, has been a house legend for many years, but what sets him apart is his unique ability to blend tradition with innovation in fascinating new ways.Their RA profile lists Large, NRK Music, King Street Sounds, Ibadan Records and 6 more.Recently at Avant Gardner, Knockdown Center, Brooklyn Hangar · often with Patrick Topping, none of them here that night

The short-story version of Kim Ann Foxman’s trajectory is pretty simple: An island-born kid dreams of a life in clubland, hits the big city and, with a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work, emerges as one of dance music’s leading figures. But it’s the details that transforms her singular tale into something far more fascinating than the standard-issue success story. After all, what other DJ can lay claim to the title of Miss Teen Filipina Hawaii? How many can say that their first job in nightlife was when in high school, serving as the in-house dancer and serving rave smoothies at an all-ages club? How many, after moving to New York by way of San Francisco in the early ’00s, can say that they helped to rejuvenate the city’s then-stale nightlife via her residency at one of the best parties ever held in a hole-in-the-wall gay bar, the Mad Clams affair? How many have tasted stardom as one of the original members of the scene-making dance-music collective Hercules and Love Affair? Exactly one, and it’s Kim Ann. But it’s a safe bet that she would have made it to where she is today without those biographical eccentricities, because her near-classical take on jacking club rhythms is hard to resist, sounding as fantastic at a full-scale mega-rave as it does at a grimy basement bash. It’s a universally appealing sound that’s taken her around the world—the past few years have seen her playing such hallowed halls as Fabric, Berghain, DC-10, Concrete and Contact, all while holding down a residency at her hometown’s Good Room. A lifetime in clubbing has informed Kim Ann’s studio work as well, with her music—much of it coming out on her own Firehouse label—synthesizing the best elements of raw house, propulsive 303 material, emotive techno and even the occasional hint of trance into a hugely satisfying whole that lives somewhere between the weird and the wonderful. And then there’s her latest project, Pleasure Planet, which sees her teaming with Andrew Potter and Brian Hersey to add sparkling touches of extraterrestrial new wave to the mix on her new sublabel, self:timer. It’s yet another twist in the continuing saga of Kim Ann Foxman—and, we’d wager, there are plenty more to come. “Sven Väth is quite simply unique.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Sven Väth is quite simply unique. A legend in his own lifetime with a commitment and passion that has influenced the advance and evolution of electronic music. Clubs, record labels and careers have been launched. There are some people that are destined to emerge and change things. Change landscapes. Sven Väth is a risk taking visionary, an instigator, an innovator and very possibly invincible. 1981 and Frankfurt it started. Quickly the figurehead for a techno revolution in Germany that was to spread far and wide. Worldwide. Setting sail alone, this was 1981 and this was new. The Omen Club and so many other adventures punctuated this period, getting the sound out there . Vinyl then, vinyl now. Parties that mattered and changed things. Parties that reinforced a vision and eventually gave birth to Cocoon. An extraordinary residency in one of the best clubs in the world was unleashed in 1999. Cocoon Ibiza, Amnesia on a Monday night. Now 16 years of parties that have set new standards in production and have never compromised on what matters. The music. An incredible risk became, and still is, one of the great successes in modern music and clubbing. A phenomenon now attracting upwards of 80,000 visitors in a 4 month season with Sven Vath front and centre throughout. Along with Cocoon Ibiza Sven created a booking agency (now Flash Artist Booking - targeting the best and the brightest), an event agency (Cocoon Event – spreading the vision across 5 continents and now over 30 countries) and a record label (Cocoon Recordings - with a back catalogue stuffed with quality) that gets ever more important and keeps on growing. For all that you just have to meet the man behind the decks to really get it. With vinyl flailing he picks up a crowd and takes them with him. At a Sven gig you are in a performance with no one knowing quite what is going to happen. It has always been so. There may be 120 gigs a year, some very big some more intimate, but you will always feel invited and you will always see the heart of the man. That heart belongs to the crowd. Everyone is a VIP. Sven Väth is rock and roll. In October 2014 there was a happening that expressed this togetherness and mutual respect. It was a 50th birthday party in stunning surroundings where 12,000 people joined together in Mannheim to celebrate a monumental life and career. An unforgettable night of dancing and community In 2015 another very special moment as Sven was honoured by the City of Frankfurt with the „Goethplakette“, issued only to those that have made a real contribution to the cultural life of the city. A formal occasion but one that was important because it acknowledged at a different level the positivity that dance music can bring. A force for good. There was an after party of course, is Sven after all..... Some fascinating collaborations have emerged as Sven has continued to explore another passion, contemporary art. Intriguing link ups with such influential figures as Tobias Rehberger and Andreas Gursky, both long term friends, are sure to throw up more surprises in the next months and years. 2016 and that means an astonishing 35 years as a Dj and an equally astonishing 17th season of Cocoon Ibiza The most charismatic DJ of his generation is more vital and relevant than ever. “There are DJs, and then there's SPFDJ.”
their own biography
the whole biography
There are DJs, and then there's SPFDJ. With an inimitable style, fearless attitude, magnetic energy, and a smooth dichotomy between the badass and softer sides to her artistry, aka "Tendercore", the Amsterdam-based artist has evolved from the grassroots scenes of London and Berlin to a globally established talent and trailblazer over the past decade. 2025 marks the debut of SPFDJ's EP Heel Thyself via her label Intrepid Skin. Dropping in November, the release nods to overcoming challenges in the creative process, including overthinking, while healing herself along the way. As well as motivating women and queers to "boot up for battle" against increasingly oppressive structures, the EP taps into the more vulnerable side of her identity through five bold club-ready tracks. This year, SPFDJ also launched her own worldwide event series, Motherlode. Curating lineups on her own terms, it's another reflection of her no-frills spirit; one that has prevailed throughout her astonishing trajectory and ripples across every endeavour under her name. Having initially honed her sound in the harsher shades of techno, the Swedish producer, DJ and founder of the label Intrepid Skin has since showcased her ability to neatly blend, layer and flare the sonically impenetrable. These days, SPFDJ laces her sets with several genres: percussively rich Latincore, jackin' hardgroove, UK hard house, sawtooth-shaped trance and many more trips and textures have snaked their way into her unruly sets. Operating on a genre-fluid scale, SPFDJ's musical taste continually mutates, refusing to stay static. Unafraid to dig into totally unexpected and abandoned territories, this exploratory and curious nature seeps into her nuanced sets, resulting in total engagement and connection with her crowd from the first beat. In 2018, Herrensauna inducted SPFDJ into their crew of residents, each of whom has empowered and transformed Berlin's queer scene every month in clubs like Tresor and RSO. In the same year, Boiler Room captured a now-iconic SPFDJ set at Herrensauna, which catapulted her profile and remains a source of timeless, sweat-soaked hedonism. The party is SPFDJ's "forever love" and continually grants her the freedom to explore disparate musical moods in a fertile and (not quite) fucks-free environment. Shortly after her first Boiler Room beamed worldwide, SPFDJ launched her label Intrepid Skin, where her Mother Goose qualities emerge from the ether, and her knack for curation and A&R comes to light. An incubator for fearless expression in all its forms, Intrepid Skin is a platform to nurture rising producers. The imprint supports artists at pivotal points of their careers, tracing back to talents like VTSS, Nene H, and Marcus L to more recent records by exciting artists like MarcelDune and Valerie Ace. Multiple Intrepid Skin showcases, like a collaboration with Boiler Room and a club night in FOLD, have allowed DJs from all backgrounds to play in renowned spaces. As the brainchild of SPFDJ, the imprint seeks originality, authenticity and personality rather than a signature sound that represents the label. Radio is another platform where SPFDJ flexes her curatorial talents. Her residency on NTS has seen her lift new names, showcasing their work to the headsy masses, in addition to a previous long-running residency on Rinse FM. Elsewhere, an Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 and podcasts for Bassiani, Dekmantel, and CRACK are just some milestone mixes that have contributed to her formidable reputation as a DJ who is always two steps ahead of the curve. SPFDJ's gig schedule has seen her appear regularly as a headliner of international shows, from the queer party Fiesta Dame in Santiago to the shadowy enclaves of FAUST in Seoul. Her festival diary includes a myriad of overground and underground gatherings, including Glastonbury, Dekmantel, Pitch Festival, and Primavera Sound, affirming her universal appeal to fresh-blooded and veteran ravers alike. In a scene of DJs and producers determined to take their stand, precious few can match the impact of SPFDJ.Their RA profile lists Intrepid Skin and Herrensauna.Recently at BASEMENT, Knockdown Center · often with Brutalismus 3000, Dorian Electra, Eera, none of them here that night
