Navid, known as Navbox, is an NYC-based DJ, producer, and passionate music curator from Iran. Born in Tehran, he moved to the U.S. with his family to escape the regime that imprisoned his father for most of his childhood. His deep roots in music began when he started playing piano at the age of four, which shaped his musical path forward. Navbox started DJing in the early 2000s, mastering his craft in Boston's underground scene while studying at university. Later he presented shows under Stranger Than Paradise (STP) in Washington, DC, which became a key platform for the city’s electronic music culture. He played a major role in shaping the scene in DC in a nascent period, curating countless shows over a decade and playing alongside the likes of Zip, Sonja Moonear, Delano Smith, Thomas Melchior, Cassy, DJ Qu, DJ Three, Danny Tenaglia, N/UM and many more. He has performed internationally at iconic venues like Hoppetosse and Club der Visionaere in Berlin, Output in New York, Fábrica De Arte in Havana, and the desert of Egypt. Blending minimal and rhythmic sounds with a deep respect for the roots and future of electronic music, he has little care for genres: focusing on good music alone. Fusing downtempo to minimal and house, and moving to the harder sounds of techno, there is a time and place for every sound. In addition to DJ’ing, he spends his time organizing shows under Respekt Music. These are opportunities to share his love for music and sound systems in various contexts and environments, further expanding his journey in sound across a wide spectrum of musical experiences. He joins the ReSolute NY team of resident DJ’s in the Spring of 2025.Recently at public records, Elsewhere, Moondog Hifi · often with Stretch, Shaun Reeves, night, none of them here that night

Jay Prouty (Brooklyn Sway, Praxis, Dojo Sessions, Cenote Records, NYC) Frankie Knuckles once said: “The minute you think you’re greater than the music you’re finished”. Most of us are still trying to identify the description of the term underground in today’s diversified world of electronic music, but Jay has mastered the description. His dj sets are a constant reminder that music is greater than us. Jay is a house music dj, producer, and vinyl connoisseur with over 20 years of experience, currently living in Brooklyn, NYC. He relocated to the Big Apple from Boston where he played an integral role in the development of the house music scene by exposing the city to new and up-coming artists: including first appearances by Booka Shade, Peace Division, Seth Troxler, Dyed Soundorom, and many more. As a dj, Jay held residencies at some of Boston’s most prominent clubs inducing Avalon and Rise Afterhours. Currently Jay is a regularly in the NYC and Washington DC club scenes with previous appearances at Output and regular appearances at TBA Brooklyn and Flash in DC, where he hosts a monthly event titled “Brooklyn Sway”, which showcases local Brooklyn underground heads. His all vinyl dj sets are a journey through the history of house music, weaving in the old with the new, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms and old skool acapellas. His recent production efforts include a well-received vinyl only EP titled "Dojo Sessions Vol. 1" with David Paglia, a single titled "Style" released on Boston-based Cenote records, a single on Soul Clap’s sister label and compilation DJ’s for Climate Change titled “Pelican”, a forthcoming remix for Brooklyn based band Kamalata, as well as an EP with Brooklyn-based artist After Touch. www.soundcloud.com/jayprouty http://cenoterecords.com/artist/jay-prouty/ Dojo Sessions Vol.1 https://soundcloud.com/davidpaglia/sets/dojo-sessions-volume-1-dojo-vinyl Style (Cenote Records) https://www.beatport.com/track/style-original-mix/7081897House on 8, Acid House on 4, Minimal on 3 and Tech House on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesTheir RA profile lists Cenote Records.Recently at Moondog Hifi, Apollo Studio, Signal · often with Asha Jasz, Elon, Kevin Osha, none of them here that night
