Living in Brooklyn by way of Karachi, Pakistan, Dynoman is widely credited as an instrumental figure in the formation and development of the Karachi underground and Pakistan’s electronic music scene. He has been producing electronic music under the Dynoman moniker since 2009, and co-founded Forever South, Pakistan’s first internationally recognized digital label, in 2012. Over the years, his sound has evolved alongside his lived experience, remaining rhythm-forward, percussion-driven, and rooted in movement. After relocating to New York in 2017, Dynoman founded Rare Frequency Transmissions, which he continues to co-run. He is a frequent presence in the Brooklyn underground and self-releases much of his work through Dynoman Music, showcasing a wide breadth of styles and approaches. When stepping into the booth, his sets are shaped by the moment rather than pre-planning, often unfolding without a fixed trajectory as he responds to the energy of the space and the room. In 2023, Dynoman co-founded Tarka, a project celebrating diaspora through artistic practice. In recent years, his work has increasingly explored rhythm, repetition, and shared states through sound, with live performances and recordings reflecting a deep engagement with percussion-led, future-facing approaches grounded in South Asian lineage.Experimental on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesTheir RA profile lists Rare Frequency Transmissions.Recently at Elsewhere, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Nowadays · often with Bergsonist, Nabihah Iqbal, Ushka, none of them here that night

Raised between Michigan and Ontario, the artist has carved a unique pathway for herself since the launch of her debut EP Notice, gaining traction throughout North America and beyond for her eclectic hardware live sets. With the titular single securing a spot on NPR’’s “100 Best Songs of 2021” list, Notice–released through Shigeto’s Portage Garage Sounds label–is currently on its third vinyl pressing. To the outside eye, Lakkis’ rise might appear rapid; in reality, it’s been over a decade in the making for the songwriter, singer, producer, poet, and DJ. A music lover from a young age, she wrote her first song at 17, experimenting with the singer/songwriting format before her exposure to the Detroit techno sound. Shapeshifting with time, she debuted “This Is How It Goes,” a synth-laden jam in early 2019. She discovered a sonic home in Seraphine Collective, a collective supporting women and queer creators, honing her talents as a selector and technical mixer. She premiered her live set in 2018 weaving Arabic vocals and genre-defying beats, solidifying her as one to watch. Since 2021, she’s been expanding her reach, touring with Ela Minus across the US and Shigeto across Europe, and landing a radio show with Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM. Remaining true to her roots however, she has maintained a presence in Detroit, hosting two DJ residencies in the city, playing regularly in clubs such as Spot Lite and Marble Bar, and making her debut at Movement Electronic Music Festival in 2022. She has performed in support of Danny Brown at his annual Bruiser Thanksgiving and in collaboration with NTS. In 2022, she was named a Kresge Artist Fellow for her boundary-pushing artistic achievement. She premiered her music video for Notice’s “Wen Rayeh” in late 2022 to positive reception. She’s currently developing her sophomore release. -Crystal MionerTheir RA profile lists Portage Garage Sounds.Recently at public records, Nowadays, Good Room · often with DJ Shannon, Vladimir Ivkovic, cotton, none of them here that night

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouses, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the moniker Audio Injection, which landed on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 and continues today as resident at the infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. In early 2011, he started the project 'Truncate' to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases have been gain critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, East Everything, Jooris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink! for Pets Recordings, Slam for Soma, and Trus’me for Prime Numbers. He has also released original tracks on 50 Weapons and on Ultramajic as a collaboration with Jimmy Edgar. A rigorous international tour schedule has followed, including included stops at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam and Output in New York. With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. “Expect to hear everything present in the consciousness of DJ Voices during one of her performances.”

Expect to hear everything present in the consciousness of DJ Voices during one of her performances. For the past decade, the Brooklyn-based DJ has been cutting a deeper path through the party, a committed distributor of new sound and undefined genres. “Crazy music” you could call it. (She does.) In a time of homogenized cultural zones and drip-fed algorithmic taste, DJ Voices is an artist specializing in something deep(er). Her sets—free-range, roving, topographic and ecstatic— are free of the usual moderating impulses. They aren’t necessarily built to offer shelter or reassurances. But more of a story: The one about our cracked future-present and its radiating potential. It’s a story that DJ Voices (real name: Kristin Malossi) has been steadily exploring through her work, currently as a resident at The Lot Radio and formerly as a resident at Nowadays, where she also worked as a booker for seven years. Her presence in the Brooklyn electronic community has expanded its contours towards curiosity and exploration and pleasure, but also unafraid of challenge. Take one example: she may be the only DJ with an active book club, “Late Nites Book Club.” The regular reading group hosted by Malossi takes up writing across genre and topic, such as aesthetics, death, rave culture, and sonics. Fitting, given that the Florida-born DJ has become an outspoken voice on contemporary club culture, candidly articulating the variety of sensations and techniques of the dance floor experience. For Voices, club spaces can also serve as cites of discovery and experimentation; “the dance floor is my classroom” you might often hear her say. And it’s best to keep that in mind as you head into a Voices set, as class will most certainly be in session.Electro on 2, Breaks on 2, Power Electronics on 1 and Acid House on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesRecently at Xanadu, Million Goods, Earthly Delights · often with Sister Zo, L&D, Dalton Saffe, none of them here that night
