London-born, Atlanta-raised, and Brooklyn-based, J.N.R. grounds her obsession with digging and curation in a deep respect for club culture and endless hours spent on the dancefloor. Her sound sits at the crossroads of uk bass, prog, and tech house, with moments of meditative introspection and energetic exuberance doled out in equal measure. Classically trained for 15 years, J.N.R. brings both precision and playfulness to her sets, infusing foundational influences with fresh energy. She’s played at a number of notable venues in BK and beyond, including Elsewhere, H0L0, and Kater, and has graced the decks for respected NYC institutions like ReSolute and Ladies on Wax. J.N.R. sets traverse genres and are rooted in the raw expression of the 90s & early 00s: bumpy UKG, spacey prog, techy rollers, choppy breaks, and heady bass are all on the table.Recently at Jupiter Disco, Honey's, Earthly Delights · often with Gigi Rio, Remniqe, Samuel Pojer, none of them here that night
“As a proponent that mixes should leave the listener baffled, exhilarated, and maybe a little bit aroused, Aleister blends an impulsively improvised mix of bass-driven electro, footwork-style breakbeats, smooth Miami basslines, robotic acid techno synths, and a dash of fuzzy punk distortion.”

As a proponent that mixes should leave the listener baffled, exhilarated, and maybe a little bit aroused, Aleister blends an impulsively improvised mix of bass-driven electro, footwork-style breakbeats, smooth Miami basslines, robotic acid techno synths, and a dash of fuzzy punk distortion. Keeping in theme, his monthly show on Half Moon and previously on 91.5FM WUML, Factory 303, has become the go-to show for international talent showcases and a wide variety of percussive-forward bass music, perfect for bass-heads that can’t really make up their minds about what they want to hear.Their RA profile lists low income $quad, Ovelha Trax, Club Designs and CLUB SP33D.Recently at SILO, Earthly Delights · often with WADDLE, pastiche, DJ eh, none of them here that night
