“Makadsi continues to impress.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Makadsi continues to impress. This Brooklyn-based DJ/Producer, hailing from Zahle Lebanon, owns the underground scene with his signature sound merging Arabic influences over cross-genre sets. He is a resident and co-founder of FUNCTION, a space where he has cultivated a dance floor that honors the natural, vibrant diversity of New York City. NY’s BASEMENT dubbed Makadsi as the “rave activator”. 2025 saw Makadsi deepen his footprint across Europe. He returned to Glastonbury for a second year, this time on the IICON stage, and debuted at Horst Arts & Music Festival in Belgium. Summer took him from Honey Dijon's Chinois in Ibiza to Geggen x Pornceptual for Berlin Pride, Body Movements in London, the main stage at Madrid's MADO Pride, and Adonis for London Pride. French-German network ARTE profiled him for their Tracks series, spotlighting how he threads Arabic divas through techno beats. Back stateside, he played in the iconic Texas room for the 4th Annual Wire Festival in Brooklyn, NY further cementing his role in the heart of the city's underground. 2024 was no less impressive, with Makadsi’s debuts in Ibiza at Palmarama, Glastonbury Festival's iconic NY Downlow stage, Berlin's Pornceptual, Honey Dijon’s House Nation in Brooklyn, and NITSA's 30th birthday in Barcelona. 2023 was nothing short of monumental for Makadsi, taking FUNCTION on the road alongside Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. As the Creative Director and architect for the Renaissance album and Renaissance World Tour, he booked opening DJ acts featuring familiar darlings of the Queer Underground scene (Arca, Shygirl, and more). He ended the tour with his own opening set for Beyoncé's last show in Kansas City. Topping off the year, Makadsi opened for Madonna’s Celebration Tour in Brooklyn.Recently at Signal, H0L0, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with Dangerous Rose, Markus, MCMLXXXV, none of them here that night
“Serenda is a London-based artist of Guyanese and Greek heritage, known for her rich sound that is rooted in house but not confined by it.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Serenda is a London-based artist of Guyanese and Greek heritage, known for her rich sound that is rooted in house but not confined by it. Her sets fold between soulful depth and experimental edge, carrying a visceral power - always executed with a bold, contemporary vision. Serenda lives at the intersection of contrast. Her deep Afro-diasporic roots and ritual-rich heritage exist in dynamic tension with city life. This paradox shaped her worldview and her sound. It’s from this friction that her perspective emerges: soulful, sensual and emotionally charged. Her sets draw on the “timeless mindless states” of Mancuso’s The Loft parties, unfolding as rituals that don’t smooth chaos but work with it. Her sets are grounded in rhythm and instinct, built less around genre than sensation. She blends percussive, sensual house, and organic textures - crafting dance floors that feel immersive, visceral and emotionally charged. There’s a physicality to her sound that edges toward the primal. For Serenda, DJing is a form of play that is fluid and responsive. Following the release of her debut EP 'The Prophecy' on Josh Caffe’s Love Child label, Serenda quickly made her mark with a headline show in Fabric’s Room 2 quickly becoming a regular there, alongside holding down a monthly Rinse FM residency. A regular presence in London’s underground, she's also deeply inspired by time spent in New York, where the experimental sound and unfiltered expression mirror her own ethos. Serenda plays with pressure and release. Her sets often unfold with a measured intensity, but she’s never afraid to disrupt the flow with something raw, off-kilter, or emotionally direct. There’s a willingness to take risks that push the room into stranger, rawer territory. Her sets move fluidly between emotional restraint and sudden rupture always edging into new emotional terrain. Her fascination with world-building and quantum physics runs through everything she creates. From layered sound design to carefully crafted visual storytelling, Serenda builds sonic landscapes that explore self-discovery, navigating the boundary between control and abandon, most recently realised in her Rhythm Section debut EP 'Second Skin', firmly cementing her as a distinctive voice of today.Their RA profile lists Rhythm Section International and Love Child.Recently at public records · often with Schwefelgelb, Justine Perry, FUNCTION Takeover, none of them here that night

FASHION - is an Asian American transsexual diva, designer, artist, and DJ based in NYC and sometimes Berlin. She would describe her musical style as an eclectic digital fusion: often combining the yin of trance (feminine, passive, chaos) and the yang of techno (masculine, active, order). Fashion is influenced heavily by her international identity, digital millennial upbringing, and the burgeoning cultural hub of New York which you can hear in her undefinable yet global sound.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Nowadays, Paragon · often with Dangerous Rose, Memphy, Markus, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. Most recently, he released the experimental project "Where The Ashes Glow" on NNA Tapes.Techno on 2, Afrobeat on 1, Art Rock on 1 and Ethereal on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on White Owl Records (3) (2) and Gonzo Circus (1); their RA profile also lists NNA Tapes and White Owl Records. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, BASEMENT, Little Island · often with Juana, Ne/Re/A, VILE, none of them here that night
