the whole biography
Cow Tools is a DJ based in NYC, shaped by the underground forest parties she helped organize while living in the UK. She gravitates toward hardgroove, hypnotic, and minimal techno, blending resonant baselines with ethereal textures for a sound that's both dreamlike and sharp and foraying into other genres to draw from softer and harder ends of the spectrum. Also a writer, she finds particular delight in crafting a strong sense of narrative arc in her sets.Last at Bossa Nova Civic Club in Jul · often with R-DNA, COVE, dj33L, none of them here that night
