His passion for music all began when he grew up with soul/funk classics & Vinyl. His parents are funk & soul lovers, so Jaël started to embrace these vibes and wanted to make his own music. Jaël came into contact with the guitar, drums, keys and started to realize that playing music is his destiny. Playing instruments become second nature to him, but a few years later he was exploring some music programmes, and felt like making music on his old Windows PC. Jaël mixed his soul & funk feels with his electronic vibes and combined it with a touch of smoothness & Beats. His most favourite artists are: Sango, Anderson Paak, J-Dilla, Kaidi Tatham, DEGO, Steve Spacek, Domu, Butcher Brown, DJ Harrison, Mndsgn, Dwele, Slum Village, Erykah Badu, Flying Lotus, D'Angelo, DJ Rob Manga, Mayer Hawthorne, Kendrick Lamar, BJ The Chicago Kid and many more. As a Deejay he's still fully inspired by his uncle DJ Rob Manga. Jaël was growing into the dutch Deejay scene and came in contact with great names like Jarreau Vandal, Full Crate, The Flexican & also was booked at the biggest festivals in The Netherlands such as Latin Village & Eastville Festival. Currently, Jaël is searching and creating his own sound and is busy on his debut EP that is scheduled to drop in 2017. It contains influences of artists such as Bryson Tiller, D'Angelo & Anderson .Paak. In the past few years Jaël got really inspired by these soulfull artists. The EP contains acoustic songs & futuristic sounds. Jaël is known as a remixer/beatmaker/deejay, but he is also a singer. So be on the lookout for Jaël's vocals & instrumental sounds. Stay on his grind.Recently at Elsewhere · often with DāM FunK, The Do-Over DJs, Moodymann, none of them here that night

their own biography
the whole biography
kels is a triple threat: dancer, digger, and DJ. She had her musical upbringing in Detroit, where she danced for 13 years surrounded by the people who gave birth to the music and values that exposed her to different realms. Being present and sensitive trained her ear and took her musicality to the next level. In 2018 she started her party and mix series maneater - where she cultivated unique line ups that connected many talented DJ’s to share music in spaces that allowed them to shine. Maneater moved with her to Brooklyn in 2019 where it has continued to draw crowds to clubs and underground spaces alike. Meanwhile, kels continues to DJ independently at venues across the States including Public Records, Spot Lite, Dante’s HIfi, Hot Mass, and Nowadays. She recently launched a new residency at Nightmoves, a club designed by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, where you can find her playing an extended five hour set each month. As a former elementary school teacher of eight years, kels brings her empathetic nature and magnetic spirit to the turntables every time she steps into the booth. kels is an agent of change always pushing community to the forefront aka connecting the cuties. Her musical thought process, practicality, and genre fluid vinyl collection will take your heart on the voyage you deserve - if you’re open to it.Recently at public records, Mansions, Signal · often with Shawn Dub, Mike Servito, Titonton Duvanté, none of them here that night
