Splitting his time between his hometown Naarm (Melbourne) and touring, Reptant’s reputation now precedes him the world over as one of the underground’s most sought-after live acts. Pushing his machines to the limit to deliver consummate electro on labels such as Kalahari Oyster Cult and Trust has entrenched him among icons of the sound and contemporary luminaries alike. He has collaborated with new-school stars Sansibar and Rudolf C, while touring alongside legends like Radioactive Man and Transparent Sound through his label and party series, Plastisonic. His style — singular, timeless, and squelchy — has earned him regular slots at the scene’s most definitive clubs and festivals worldwide, including Fold (London), Nowadays (NYC), Waking Life (Portugal), Love International (Croatia), and Houghton (England). On top of his live sets, Reptant has been honing his DJing with incredible clarity, never losing focus on the needs of the dance floor while laying down esoteric heat from across the electro/techno continuum. Watch out for Reptant at a club near you.Their RA profile lists TRUST, Die Orakel, Craigie Knowes, Steeplejack and 6 more.Recently at Camp Kennybrook, Nowadays, public records · often with Miscmeg, Vinz Sosa, Mike Midnight, none of them here that night
“Puerto Rican, Paris/Brooklyn-based Luis Aponte is perhaps best known as one of hardcore’s most influential drummers, but his virtuosic playing for beloved Philly metalcore legends Jesus Piece is only the tip of the iceberg of his many talents.”

Puerto Rican, Paris/Brooklyn-based Luis Aponte is perhaps best known as one of hardcore’s most influential drummers, but his virtuosic playing for beloved Philly metalcore legends Jesus Piece is only the tip of the iceberg of his many talents. Over the last few years Aponte has been shredding ear canals and rearranging internal organs from behind the decks as LU2K. He has developed a sensitivity to rhythms and patterns that allows him to suture genres together, finding common thread in unexpected places throughout his DJ sets; his liberating selections have made him a commanding presence around Europe and the USA.Recently at Paragon, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring · often with Hyas, Pura Pura, Miley Serious, none of them here that night
