Sana is outspoken artist in the male-dominated dance music scene and challenges conventions and creates spaces where rhythm and melody bring people together. Layered with breakbeats, Baile Funk, and experimental bass, her sets expand the boundaries of house while keeping the dancefloor locked in a driving groove. Her music seamlessly blends traditional Indian instruments with the pulse of house, melodic techno, and bass, while weaving in Afro, Tribal, Indo, and Latin influences to craft a dynamic and diverse sonic journey. Sana is one of the founders of DAYTIMERS NYC, the New York chapter of the acclaimed UK collective, and has been featured on Refuge Worldwide (Berlin), Newtown Radio (NYC), and Half Moon BK (NYC). She has performed at leading venues in NYC and London, including Elsewhere, House of Yes, Jazz Cafe (UK), Kindred (UK), and Superior Ingredients, supporting events for acclaimed labels and collectives such as Indo Warehouse, Laylit, DAYTIMERS UK, and Anjunadeep. In 2025, Sana released an official remix of “Ghana Kasoota” with Sony Music India/Relentless Records, reimagining the viral hit through her globally inspired sound. She is currently working on her debut EP with Pink Turban, continuing to merge South Asian instruments, tribal drums, and Carnatic vocals with dynamic dance music for a truly cross-cultural experience. The EP is set to be released in late 2025.Their RA profile lists Relentless Records.Recently at Moondog Hifi, Mood Ring, House of Yes · often with Krithi, Saqib, James Park, none of them here that night
“Coming from humble beginnings, Tim was unable to afford CD players.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Coming from humble beginnings, Tim was unable to afford CD players. He thus spent much of his growing up years collecting used cassettes, and in the early 2000s, he saved what little money he had to purchase his first pair of [pre-owned] CDJs, a basic two channel mixer, and taught himself how to mix. An avid fan of genres such as soul, funk, disco and deep house, Tim would listen to various artists and discover new music at his local record store. He considers Giorgio Moroder, Larry Heard, Kerri Chandler and Dennis Ferrer as his major musical influences. Tim incorporates several indigenous instruments to his productions, reflecting his tropical roots. He also adds atmospheric sounds to his compositions, resulting in a warm, laid-back and refreshing feel to electronic music. His work provides the listener a unique and uplifting experience, reminiscent of watching the sun rise on a pristine beach.Their RA profile lists 917 Records.Recently at Mood Ring, SILO · often with RICK E, In The Red, TORSK, none of them here that night
