Joey Beltram - Drumcode / R&S / BUSH / Warp Short Biography: For over the last 20+ years, Joey Beltram is considered one of the pioneers and a legendary producer of Techno and House. He has recorded on many of the biggest labels of the early 90's such as Nu-Groove, Tresor, Warp, Transmat, and R&S records. Much of his music during that time is widely acknowledged as groundbreaking. Beltram has also been heralded as a major influence by many of todays DJ's and producers including Daft Punk (as mentioned in their song "Teachers"). He has also produced many Techno staples of the 1990's including "Energy Flash", "Mentasm", "Forklift", "Ballpark" and "Game Form". In more recent years Joey Beltram has worked with and remixed artist's and DJ's such as Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Umek, Oliver Huntemann and Steve Lawler. “To sum it up best, Juno sees techno as a textbook through culture and history.”

the whole biography
To sum it up best, Juno sees techno as a textbook through culture and history. The Queens, NY-born Jamaican DJ has always gravitated toward electronic music since they were younger, but it wasn’t until after their time living in Germany and North Carolina that they realized how much deeper this music goes. Through their own research and the guidance of the owners of the former NC record store 641 RPM (shoutout E&T), they discovered the roots and sound of the music we all love. Underground Resistance, DJ Bone , Jay Denham , and many more acts and individuals inspired them and shaped what this music means to them, as well as what it can teach to so many, such as themes of resistance, community, and humanity. Now living back in Queens, they’ve been making their way around the circuit, playing at notable spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club, Signal and H0L0 , where they’ve shared the stage with techno OGS such as Joey Beltram, Adam X, DJ Shufflemaster, Mike Dearborn, and Shawnscape Renegade. While their growth may not be exponential, they’re truly in this for the long game and the love of the sound. Picking up records in late 2023 only deepened their passion and knowledge of music, and they’ve become increasingly comfortable with their style, showcasing it whenever they can in the new NYC music scene.Recently at Signal, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Honey's · often with KYRUH, wahala.wav, Simisola, none of them here that night

Born in Ohio and raised by New York clubs, Cosmo is a shining modern representative of the city’s Golden Age of DJing, in skill, in spirit, and in sensibility. A forever student of 90s subcultures, Cosmo is now an authority in connecting those dots, decompartmentalizing genres during her sets and revitalizing the club as a much needed space for expression and joy. Cosmo may open a night with her early entry points to dance music, gospel and funk and vocal-heavy RnB, and proceed to blend break beats with new jack swing or old-school house with tribal—all delivered with remarkable clarity of voice and a sense of self that fueled her fated teenage move to New York to DJ over a decade ago. Being from the Midwest, her house music literacy circles its epicenters and favors groovy records, warm basslines, playful vocals, and elating instrumentals that stir the spirit. Her deep knowledge, cultural curiosity, and refreshing authenticity make Cosmo one of New York’s most in-demand DJs, a regular at the most iconic clubs and a Fashion Week party go-to. She is a resident at Public Records, where she can explore every inch of her collection and join forces with legends like Sandy Rivera as well as other torchbearing peers. She’s represented the city sharing the decks with her heroes like Honey Dijon and Mike Dunn, and on esteemed platforms such as Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show and Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company show. As a longtime resident at The Lot Radio, Cosmo gets the opportunity to share everything she cherishes and often includes parts of her CD and magazine archives. Music has soundtracked Cosmo’s every move. Her gratitude for her practice is apparent, and her effervescence behind the decks reaches the crowd no matter the size of the room—a musical hug that holds dancers through times good and bad.Recently at Elsewhere, public records, Le Bain · often with Eli Escobar, Donis, Hidden Spheres, none of them here that night

Sam discovered her love for electronic music at a young age while surfing YouTube, which has sent her into a lifelong digging rabbit hole. Her sound reflects a deeply informed ear and reverence for dancing, pulling from her coming of age experience on the floors at raves and clubs. Her work as a DJ and producer leans into mutant sonic collisions, channeling the spirit of midwestern electronics through acid-infused, tracky body music.Trance on 3, Techno on 2, Hardcore on 2 and Ambient on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on RAVE4EVAR (1), Yearning (1) and low income $quad (1); their RA profile also lists Evar Records and Gyration Station. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at BASEMENT, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Mike Servito, Miss Parker, MORENXXX, none of them here that night
