Born in Manhattan to Iranian immigrants, Nick AM’s artistry marries family heritage and contemporary influence. Following the Iranian revolution in the 1980’s, Nick’s grandfather started a new life in New York City, selling Persian rugs and establishing the family business that still lives on today. Nick's love of house and electronic music was born from familial influence as well. His parents would often bring home mix CD’s from their travels, exposing him to Western pop and dance music and eventually spurring his obsession for house music with a mix brought from San Tropez. Nick has chased electronic music ever since— coming of age in New York’s underground club scene and learning to produce through friends. Nick's Utopia EP sources sounds from his ancestral home to create electronic anthems for a new world. “The quest for utopia is the root of conflict, thus a perfect society cannot exist,” says Nick of the project. “The consequences of Iran’s conflict with the west and the fear of war between my current home and my motherland inspired my process.” Utopia follows Nick’s 2019 debut EP FATALE and an official remix of Cautious Clay’s “Cold War” which has accumulated over two million streams to date.Their RA profile lists Headroom Records.Recently at SILO, Elsewhere, Pianos · often with VOHU, DJ Fuck, DJ ATTENTION, none of them here that night

Teeyam (Left Hand Path) is an Iranian-American DJ and producer based in NYC—his sound traverses zones of techno/house, acid, electro, breaks, wave, and brooding psychedelia. Drawing inspiration from his love of experimental cinema, soundbites and samples interweave with unhinged grooves, forging an uncanny sonic tapestry that explores the fringes of dance music. He has DJ’d for over 15 years–cutting his teeth in San Francisco, where he grew to be a pivotal figure in the Bay Area scene. His multimedia cinema and dark dance party, “They’re Here” held residency at Underground SF and he curated Mutek San Francisco. In 2021, Mixmag ranked his contribution to the mix series, Pi Pi Pi, as one of the best mixes of the year calling it a “sweltering and devilish blend of sounds” and “fun as hell rave music”. In 2024, He launched the monthly event series called, House Of Baba, which spotlights SWANA Musicians and DJs, delivering cutting-edge sounds in the diasporic experimental dance music scene. Teeyam is one half of a new experimental dance music project with the prolific, John Barera. PHREAKERS is self-described as “Sludge-induced gutter techno acid punk”.
