JELLYFISH is Ricky Mawzlin and Stephanie Tsong, a DJ duo/collective from Pittsburgh (USA). They welcome dancers to a sweaty dance floor blanketed in neon + fog with sets that morph between italo, house, melodic techno, disco, electro, and beyond. Since 2017 they’ve DJ’d and hosted parties throughout Pittsburgh. They’ve also played cities as NYC, Taipei, Mexico City, San Francisco, Detroit, London, Berlin, and much more. Jellyfish strives to create a (very) queer, FUN atmosphere where ALL are welcome on the dance floor. Now let’s dance.Recently at Good Room, H0L0, Earthly Delights · often with Ricky Mawzlin, Formosa, Baronhawk Poitier, none of them here that night

Sam discovered her love for electronic music at a young age while surfing YouTube, which has sent her into a lifelong digging rabbit hole. Her sound reflects a deeply informed ear and reverence for dancing, pulling from her coming of age experience on the floors at raves and clubs. Her work as a DJ and producer leans into mutant sonic collisions, channeling the spirit of midwestern electronics through acid-infused, tracky body music.Trance on 3, Techno on 2, Hardcore on 2 and Ambient on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on RAVE4EVAR (1), Yearning (1) and low income $quad (1); their RA profile also lists Evar Records and Gyration Station. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at BASEMENT, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Mike Servito, Miss Parker, MORENXXX, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Justin's coming-of-age as a fan and creator of dance music took place amidst the wide expanses of central Illinois. As a kid growing up in the state’s tucked-away capital of Springfield, he played drums as a jazz percussionist in school. While most of his peers were tuned into pop music, Justin was wearing out self-made mixes and classic disco compilations, workshopping new-wave influenced beats in bands and DJing college parties. A post-graduation move to Chicago led him to work for the influential dance music blog Little White Earbuds, opening him up to fully experience the city’s thriving underground house and techno scene. A Midwest-born and raised DJ, Justin has played at queer parties such as Wrecked, The Carry Nation, Horse Meat Disco, Honcho, and Club Toilet, and has gained a following all over the world with appearances at clubs like Smartbar Chicago, Panorama Bar, Is Burning Amsterdam, Razzmatazz Barcelona, DC10 and Lux Fragil. His bold, acid-flecked distillation of house and techno has found a home on the labels that are helping to shape the current landscape of transgressive body music, including The Bunker New York, Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions, and Honey Soundsystem Records. Justin's sound is defined by snaking acid lines, whip smart drums and offbeat rave melodies that have resonated with DJs and dancers from Detroit to Berlin. He has been featured in mixes for series such as Beats In Space, Truants, MixMag, Phantasy and The Bunker New York’s long-running podcast.Techno on 23, House on 20, Tech House on 10 and Acid on 9. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Acid For Trans Health (1), Spotlight Records (1) and The Night Institute (1); their RA profile also lists Turbo Recordings, Hotflush Recordings, Interdimensional Transmissions, Phonica White and 6 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Paragon, Good Room, Sunset Park Rooftop · often with Mike Servito, Kim Anh, JADALAREIGN, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Jeffrey Sfire is originally from suburban Detroit, where he was introduced to underground dance music and illegal warehouse parties as a teenager in the 90's. This escape from suburbia led him to the dancefloors of the city’s most talented DJs and musicians, who soon exposed him to a new culture of creative riches. Learning by example, Sfire’s taste and skills as a DJ developed naturally and he soon began playing out at parties, clubs and sleazy gay afterhours, entering covertly through back doors or with a fake ID. At the age of 18, a move to Chicago led Sfire to a whole other side of dance music history, including the Italo Disco and High Energy sounds of the 1980s. He spent afternoons digging through record store crates, meeting retired DJs and developing his musical palette. Jeffrey’s style is absolutely unique and clearly tied to the roots of his midwest upbringing and he can be found working the floor out with italo, high nrg, chicago house, and everything WBMX. Having held numerous club residencies, he regularly plays in LA, Detroit, Chicago, and New York, consistently offering a finely-tuned selection at clubs like Basement and Nowadays in NY, Panoramabar Berlin, and Hot Mass in Pittsburgh. He also has a hand in producing parties such as Detroit's infamous Movement weekend queer rager, Club Toilet, and collaborating with Justin Cudmore on a new monthly Sunday party at Signal (NY). Jeffrey is also a gifted producer and one half of production projects: Sfire (with Sophie), Looky Looky, and Pushing Movies with releases on labels such as Dark Entries, Cocktail D’Amore Music and Ultramajic, while his mixes have long been prized for their depth and quality and are often featured as RA mix of the day.House on 6, Deep House on 4, Synth-pop on 4 and New Wave on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on CockTail d'Amore Music (1), HMRecords (1) and The Brvtalist (1); their RA profile also lists Ultramajic. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at BASEMENT, Signal, Under the K Bridge · often with Mike Servito, Sterling Juan Diaz, Makadsi, none of them here that night
