their own biography
the whole biography
Growing up in a Black and Jamaican household in the DMV, Sean's ear was shaped by go-go, gospel, reggae, soul, and hip-hop. When he discovered house and techno, he heard the connection: all of it traced back to the same roots in Africa and the Caribbean. Sean started DJing in 2025 during his sophomore year at NYU, studying under RiMarkable. He cut his teeth throwing house parties over the summer, then took his setup to Washington Square Park for public sessions became his testing ground, eventually leading to sets at bars and clubs across Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. Behind the decks, Sean focuses on the dance floor, reading the room and feeding the crowd what they need in the moment. His sets are rich and dynamic, blending rhythmic pulses from across the diaspora. His soundscape ranges from late 90s deep house and UKG to Afro House, techno, ghetto tech, and electronic R&B; always with soulful melodies meeting bass-heavy, percussion-driven production. The goal is simple: make people leave their ego and their "brand" at the door, and connect with their people and their ancestors on the floor.often with Kemmii, Tallboy, Petal, none of them here that night
