    their own biography

    the whole biography
Anthony Parasole should need no introduction to newer or longer-standing dancers of the New York Deep House and Techno scenes. A longtime employee of halcyon, friend of Levon Vincent and his partner in Deconstruct Music, and a prominent figure with the underground House and Techno resurgence of NYC, Anthony’s acute selections won our ears right away, and he hasn’t let go since. Known for the deepest sounds of Techno and House and for gracing dance floors home and abroad from Shelter to Berghain. Anthony had a breakout year in 2012 with his track “TYSON" featured on the highly acclaimed Fabric 63 mixed by Levon Vincent, and that year he also launched his new label, The Corner. The first release "Tri-State" by DJ Qu & Nor'easter sold out worldwide. "Atlantic Ave" by Anthony Parasole & Phil Moffa followed, receiving critically acclaimed reviews from multiple online magazines in 2012. Then 2013 marked the fast rise of The Corner in techno dominance as the releases came out with much anticipation and highly recommended reviews. This resulted with The Corner landing on many year-end lists including Resident Advisor’s Top Labels of the Year, ranked at #8. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Anthony Parasole has had a lifelong love affair with electronic music. Listening to radio shows playing the early dance tracks from New York, Chicago, Detroit, and beyond, really perked up his ears. His earliest experiences at the New York clubs and Storm Raves blew his mind wide open. Not content to just be another club kid, Anthony began scouring record stores for all of his favorite tracks from the early 90′s to the present day. Parasole is also huge into hip-hop. His engulfment in this gritty New York street music and culture is an influence on his style to this day, not only in his music but in the entire artistic aesthetic of his labels. From 2003-2007, Anthony was a House and Techno buyer at the Halcyon record store. Through Halcyon, a real pillar of the scene in NYC, Parasole made many contacts, and naturally started an event series called “New Jack City” at the great APT with his co-workers at Halcyon, bringing in many cutting-edge talents from the Tri-state area. This party really increased Anthony’s exposure in New York, and led to many gigs at bigger clubs including Pacha NYC & Shelter amongst many other venues. He then launched "Deconstruct Music” record label with his partner Levon Vincent. DEC-01 “Invisible Bitchslap” by Levon Vincent sold out in 1 week, and immediately put the label on the map and had Hardwax and other influential stores clamoring for more! Parasole also founded the once famed House-N-Home loft-party series with partner Bryan Kasenic of The Bunker. House-N-Home left a everlasting mark and a blueprint in the NYC warehouse/loft scene. Now Anthony has had productions out on his own labels, The Corner & Deconstruct, as well as for Marcel Dettmann’s mighty techno imprint MDR. Parasole’s EP “Off The Grid” sold out in a few weeks. Following this, Anthony joined Ostgut Ton bookings in December 2013, and their label tapped him to do a remix Marcel Dettmann’s “Seduction”. They then released “My Block” which is Parasole’s first EP for Ostgut Ton. Parasole then made the progression to resident at Berghain and thru this platform he began shaping his sound and technique, pushing his deep, raw, driving, rhythmic, percussive, and mesmerizing sound that club-goers have come to know and love. Then soon after Anthony became resident at Output in his home town Brooklyn, NY and he continues to consistently challenge dancefloors worldwide.
Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Delsin, Marcel Dettmann Records, Deconstruct Music and 3 more.

  • Katie Rex

New York City · 47 bookings since Sep 2023

“Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs. The Bound founder and Basement resident has spent the last decade and changed pushing a singular vision of wild, uncompromising rave power. Fusing throbbing techno, ripping hardgroove, key selections from NY’s vibrant underground and nods to her foundational loves - goth & industrial - Rex has developed a well-earned reputation for turning the dancefloor on its head. Her sets move with the perfect balance of precision and controlled chaos, transmuting a gleefully grungy menace into liberatory catharsis. Rex’s career began in Philadelphia where, in true DIY spirit, she began organizing parties around a key, glaring gap. Factory Girls was Rex’s first party series, an all-femme party that highlighted some of the 2010’s most vital new artists and helped point the way forward out of an oppressively male-focused monoculture. Word spread quickly, and early alliances with NY’s Discwoman drew Rex up to NY more and more. A few short years later she found herself at the center of a cultural renaissance. Regular sets at the revered, secretive Unter party, close ties with Bossa Nova Civic Club, and in 2016, the first edition of Bound all came quickly, and Rex’s position in the culture was soon indisputable. Bound has become Rex’s calling card: a NY-based, nationally produced kink party that seeks to redefine the form. Landing at the revered institution Basement, as one of the inaugural residencies at the club in 2019. As with Factory Girls, Bound pushes back against the ensconced patriarchal power dynamics that have made many femme and queer people feel unwelcome. It instead creates a space that is directly, unapologetically for those groups, with outstanding artists to boot. Rex’s DJing at these parties inevitably sets the standard; her capacity to both wield music of brutal power and craft an immersive, captivating, even joyful journey embodies the entire ethos of the night. Through this passion for amplifying artists, Rex created a boutique label featuring releases from Dax J, Silent Servant, Terence Fixmer, Bored Lord, Kilbourne, Ireen Amnes, Kontravoid, and more. After a 6 year Lot Radio residency, featuring a host of guests including VTSS, Rebekah, Sedef Adasï, Akua, Silent Servant, and Hyperaktivist, Bound release a new mix series In 2025. Rex has become an international presence, with regular gigs across the States and overseas. Her sets have been sought after beyond the club by Boiler Room and luxury houses Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Burberry, and Parfums de Marley. Press features in Vogue, The Face, Paper Magazine, Document Journal, Vice, The New Yorker, and Nylon Magazine have lauded her as the face of a new wave in nightlife culture. As her vision has come to shape US nightlife, the power of her music has only become more honed and riveting. What’s come before is only the beginning.
Their RA profile lists Bound and Magic City.

  • KXAH

New York City · 53 bookings since Oct 2023

“Drawing from Detroit’s foundational influence and the darker edges of contemporary European club music, she crafts immersive, tension-driven sets built on heavy percussion, layered textures, and driving low-end energy.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Drawing from Detroit’s foundational influence and the darker edges of contemporary European club music, she crafts immersive, tension-driven sets built on heavy percussion, layered textures, and driving low-end energy. Her approach to DJing centers on narrative and atmosphere, creating long-form journeys where tracks dissolve into one another through mounting pressure and cathartic release. Originally developing her craft in Boston through close collaboration with the INFRA collective, KXAH became deeply involved in the underground DIY circuit before relocating to New York City. During that time, she co-founded the Aversion event platform and label, helping build collaborative events and releases alongside collectives and artists from across the US and Europe, including Detroit Techno Militia, BCCO, Maison Fauna, and Uncoiled. Though no longer involved with the platform, the experience helped shape her approach to underground culture, collaboration, and independent artist infrastructure. Beyond the club, KXAH’s work extends deeply into experimental listening culture and interdisciplinary curation. Previously curating for Silence Please, a high-fidelity speaker building company and immersive listening showroom in New York, where she programmed and hosted experimental ambient sessions centred around intentional listening and sound system culture. Working within the showroom’s acoustically focused environment, she curated performances and listening experiences featuring artists such as Neel, Function, Amelia Holt, Amma Atteria and other experimental live performers, vinyl selectors, and sound artists. The series explored the intersection of ambient music, spatial sound, psychoacoustics, and deep listening, reflecting KXAH’s ongoing interest in the emotional and physical impact of sound beyond the dancefloor. Her independently curated “Fight Club” events further expanded this community-driven approach. Hosted inside a fighting gym under the motto “Fighters Not Lovers,” the series created a platform highlighting female and multidisciplinary creatives, fostering collaboration between DJs, visual artists, designers, performers, and emerging talent within underground communities. As a performer, KXAH has appeared at influential venues and underground institutions across New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, and the East Coast, including Basement, Paragon, Marble Bar, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Good Room, Refuge, and Leland City Club. She has also performed at festivals including The Great Beyond and Techtoit. In March 2026, KXAH released “The State Of The Mind” through Amsterdam-based label and collective Donker as part of the compilation DNKRVA004, a release featuring female artists from across the international underground electronic scene, with proceeds supporting breast cancer awareness and research initiatives in the Netherlands.
