their own biography
the whole biography
Argentinian DJ and producer, Tayhana, has established herself, in a short period of time, as one of the most relevant and promising figures in the club scene around the world. Self-taught by her experience as a founder of one of the most radical parties in South America that revalued the original music of the continent, she is recognized as a central figure in the Club Latinx genre. Thanks to her aggressive way of playing, a fearless imagination mixing different rhythms, BPMs and a wide range of experimental sounds from Latin America, but mostly because of her creative capacity as a producer and a beatmaker to push the boundaries of what has been possible in the encounter of urban and traditional music from all over the continent, she has called the attention of artists such as Rosalía, Daniela Lalita, Mare Advertencia Lírica, Gaika, among many others producers and well known DJs in the industry. Currently based in México, she has been part of the record label N.A.A.F.I, with whom she released her first albúm “Tierra del Fuego”, with great acceptance and broad recognition by the specialized media in the electronic music scene. The impact of this singular approach to club music gave her the chance to be booked in extensive tours around Europe, Asia and all over Latin America. Over the last few years she has played in a wide range of the most relevant festivals that embrace club culture such as Primavera Sound, Lollapalooza (ARG), Mutek (USA), Unsound (POL), Festival Estereo Picnic (CO), Festival Ceremonia (MX), SXSW (TX) and also institutions like MoMA Ps1 (NY-USA) among many others. Recently, Tayhana’s work as a music producer and a beatmaker, has been selected and recognized in large scale productions by artists such as GAIKA and ROSALÍA, for whom she produce the beat “CUUUUUuuute” for her world acclaimed latest album “Motomami”, being the only female producer involved on the record that would win ‘Best Alternative Album’ at the GRAMMY Awards and ‘Album of the Year’ at the LATIN GRAMMYS Awards. But also, she has been invited as a producer in the original soundtrack of WAKANDA FOREVER, one of the latest blockbuster movies of MARVEL, next to the artist Foudeqush with the song “Con la brisa”. In the past decade, the relevance of her work has not only inspire the multiplication and emergence of differents clubs centered in electronic music from Latin America, but also a broad number of producers and djs, specially females, opening a new kind of recognition to the beautiful complexity of the sound of Latinx culture.Their RA profile lists Naafi and Hypersonics.Last at Nowadays in May · often with Pvssy Divx, Miss Papi, Fumaratto, none of them here that night

“2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York.”
their own biography
the whole biography
2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Markus is known for his versatility, playing a variety of genres including EBM, House, Italo, 80s Darkwave, Breaks, and more. However, he is most renowned for his unique blend of old school electro and new school brolectro, with a distinctive touch of lesbian techno. Born to Palestinian immigrant parents in Las Vegas, he grew up in the suburbs during the 90s, where he developed a deep appreciation for 90s R&B music. In middle school, he discovered trance via Napster and limewire, igniting his passion for electronic music. Markus's move to San Francisco marked a significant turning point in his musical journey. Immersing himself in the city's vibrant underground dance scene, he learned from the renowned Honey Soundsystem, a queer collective, and the iconic Club Lonely. He also became obsessed with the local garage rock scene and perhaps his most significant musical inspiration, Beach House. In 2010, Markus co-founded the indie chillwave band Seatraffic with his friend Brandon Harrison. As the band's synth player and vocalist, Markus contributed to their unique sound, leading to several successful releases over five years. During this period, Markus found his true self on the dance floor, forming his first queer friendships and feeling a profound sense of belonging. This community became his family and played a crucial role in shaping his identity. Inspired by artists like early Grimes and Purity Ring, Markus began producing his own crossover tracks. However, his career as an architectural professional meant that music took a secondary role for a time. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Markus received his first pair of turntables from his then-boyfriend, now best-friend, Dylan. This gift ignited his passion for DJing, and during lockdown, he honed his skills as a bedroom DJ, playing at the lockdown afters with friends. Markus's most influential mentor, Robert Yang (Bezier), introduced him to Ouissam, of Savage Club Hanoi and the founder of Equation Festival in Vietnam. Ouissam challenged Markus to perform at the Rave Cave during Equation Festival 2023. Markus prepared a new live set and made his comeback after a five-year hiatus, performing original productions like "Want It Back" and "With Your Girlfriends," two tracks deeply rooted in the original sounds of Detroit Electro of the 90s, with a San Francisco and Dutch sprinkling of EBM on top. On the same trip, Markus celebrated his birthday at Savage Hanoi, where he was asked to replace Sedaf Adassi, who had to cancel due to COVID-19. This unexpected opportunity led to Markus's first DJ gig at one of Asia's most prestigious clubs. Back in Brooklyn, Markus continued to build his reputation, performing at venues like Bossa Nova Civic Club and participating in fundraisers for Palestine. Later he eventually secured regular gigs at Basement, where he plays in both the Main Room and the multi-genre-focused Studio. In 2024, Markus embarked on his first DJ tour in Asia, performing at renowned clubs such as .Tag, Pawnshop, Heim, and returning to Savage in Hanoi. This year, he will debut at Nowadays for their 24-hour party, nonstop, alongside Lena Wilkens and Vladimir Ivkovic. Markus is also set to perform at this year's Wire Festival at the Knockdown Center in May and make his European debut at Herrensauna's CSD Party in July.Recently at BASEMENT, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Paragon · often with Makadsi, Kilopatrah Jones, Dangerous Rose, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Born in Ohio and raised by New York clubs, Cosmo is a shining modern representative of the city’s Golden Age of DJing, in skill, in spirit, and in sensibility. A forever student of 90s subcultures, Cosmo is now an authority in connecting those dots, decompartmentalizing genres during her sets and revitalizing the club as a much needed space for expression and joy. Cosmo may open a night with her early entry points to dance music, gospel and funk and vocal-heavy RnB, and proceed to blend break beats with new jack swing or old-school house with tribal—all delivered with remarkable clarity of voice and a sense of self that fueled her fated teenage move to New York to DJ over a decade ago. Being from the Midwest, her house music literacy circles its epicenters and favors groovy records, warm basslines, playful vocals, and elating instrumentals that stir the spirit. Her deep knowledge, cultural curiosity, and refreshing authenticity make Cosmo one of New York’s most in-demand DJs, a regular at the most iconic clubs and a Fashion Week party go-to. She is a resident at Public Records, where she can explore every inch of her collection and join forces with legends like Sandy Rivera as well as other torchbearing peers. She’s represented the city sharing the decks with her heroes like Honey Dijon and Mike Dunn, and on esteemed platforms such as Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show and Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company show. As a longtime resident at The Lot Radio, Cosmo gets the opportunity to share everything she cherishes and often includes parts of her CD and magazine archives. Music has soundtracked Cosmo’s every move. Her gratitude for her practice is apparent, and her effervescence behind the decks reaches the crowd no matter the size of the room—a musical hug that holds dancers through times good and bad.Recently at public records, Le Bain, Good Room · often with Eli Escobar, Donis, Hidden Spheres, none of them here that night
