Ayesha is a key player in Brooklyn's dance music scene, and has become one of NYC's most prominent names when it comes to faster, more-bass heavy sounds in New York. Her approach to DJing and production blends elements of America's techno underground with leftfield UK sounds and diasporic influences from her Indian heritage, moving across tempos and rhythms with ease. Her music, hypnotic, pulsating and powerful, is as at home at a deep forest festival as it is a sweaty basement or dark nightclub, made with meticulous sound design, spongy textures and alien melodies. She writes tracks with deliberate consideration for how bodies move—and how music moves bodies—which makes her work unusually tactile and physical. "Beautiful things emerge from our care and consistent attention," she says about her work, which she also calls "body over mind." Everyone else calls it brilliant. She's put out music on Scuffed Recordings and Kindergarten Records, the latter of whom released her debut album, Rhythm is Memory, in 2022. DJ Mag called it "a revelation," Resident Advisor a "fierce mission statement" and Mixmag placed her at number two in its list of the 25 Producers Who Defined 2023. Later this year, she'll make her live set debut at MUTEK Festival in Montreal, hinting at an exciting new chapter for a dynamic force in American dance music.Their RA profile lists Fever AM, Scuffed Recordings, Femme Culture, Control Freak Records and 2 more.Recently at Nowadays, Camp Kennybrook, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with DJ DEADNAME, Ma Sha, Baby Leo, none of them here that night

Spending the past few years honing his sound and technique, Bambounou, a key figure in the Parisian scene, has gained his position from his genre bending and jubilant electronic music productions and laying down solid freight train DJ sets around the globe. Born Jeremy Guindo, Bambounou is the product of vast internal landscape where he roves freely in search of inspiration. Just as his alloyed French-Malian-Polish background has grown him a strong backbone of musical independence, so too has his love for astrophysics and dystopian sci-fi been distilled into futuristic interpretations UK techno, IDM and tribal sources. His effortless straddling of experimental eclecticism and 4x4 beat mastery helped Bambounou to early on catch the eye of Modeselektor, whose 50Weapons released two albums and five EPs of his axiom breaking dance incantations. Bambounou’s originality and craftsmanship has earned him some first rate remixes with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Jessy Lanza and Sampha. Collaborations with Margaret Dygas and Simo Cell also demonstrated his ability to innovate both creatively and technically. Add to this his experience ratcheting up the dance floors of some of the world’s best locations like Berghain/Panorama Bar, Concrete, De School, Freerotation, MoMA PS1 and Nuits Sonores and it should come as no surprise that Bambounou’s upcoming releases are being served with a healthy dose of anticipation.Their RA profile lists 50 Weapons, Bright Sounds, Taapion Records, AD 93 and 3 more.Last at public records in Jul · often with Rose Kourts, MESA, LOVEFOXY, none of them here that night

The short-story version of Kim Ann Foxman’s trajectory is pretty simple: An island-born kid dreams of a life in clubland, hits the big city and, with a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work, emerges as one of dance music’s leading figures. But it’s the details that transforms her singular tale into something far more fascinating than the standard-issue success story. After all, what other DJ can lay claim to the title of Miss Teen Filipina Hawaii? How many can say that their first job in nightlife was when in high school, serving as the in-house dancer and serving rave smoothies at an all-ages club? How many, after moving to New York by way of San Francisco in the early ’00s, can say that they helped to rejuvenate the city’s then-stale nightlife via her residency at one of the best parties ever held in a hole-in-the-wall gay bar, the Mad Clams affair? How many have tasted stardom as one of the original members of the scene-making dance-music collective Hercules and Love Affair? Exactly one, and it’s Kim Ann. But it’s a safe bet that she would have made it to where she is today without those biographical eccentricities, because her near-classical take on jacking club rhythms is hard to resist, sounding as fantastic at a full-scale mega-rave as it does at a grimy basement bash. It’s a universally appealing sound that’s taken her around the world—the past few years have seen her playing such hallowed halls as Fabric, Berghain, DC-10, Concrete and Contact, all while holding down a residency at her hometown’s Good Room. A lifetime in clubbing has informed Kim Ann’s studio work as well, with her music—much of it coming out on her own Firehouse label—synthesizing the best elements of raw house, propulsive 303 material, emotive techno and even the occasional hint of trance into a hugely satisfying whole that lives somewhere between the weird and the wonderful. And then there’s her latest project, Pleasure Planet, which sees her teaming with Andrew Potter and Brian Hersey to add sparkling touches of extraterrestrial new wave to the mix on her new sublabel, self:timer. It’s yet another twist in the continuing saga of Kim Ann Foxman—and, we’d wager, there are plenty more to come. “Cora moves with astral intuition—alchemizing her indie acting roots into cinematic sets that radiate with celestial energy, and sear with Sichuan spice.”

Cora moves with astral intuition—alchemizing her indie acting roots into cinematic sets that radiate with celestial energy, and sear with Sichuan spice. Driven by rolling drums, percussive passages, punchy vocals and transcendent breakdowns, the Chengdu-born DJ weaves between old school trance, progressive house and techno grooves—superimposing dramatic subplots and emotional undertows onto rhythmic narratives, attuned to the kinetic desires of the dancefloor. From her hometown residency at .TAG, Chengdu, to her newfound base in Berlin, Cora's path has been one of perpetual transformation, evolving into an accomplished DJ and producer amid an awakened and accelerating scene. Her debut release, ‘Mountain High’, marked a propulsive blend of progressive trance and her own take on traditional mountain singing, drawing on seven years of classical Italian operatic training. Her latest release, sees a meditative rendition of Buddhist mantra, ‘The Heart Sutra’. Across each of her personal productions, Cora’s confident and ethereal vocal experimentation makes every track distinctly her own. Through her performance, productions, and party series 6G+, Cora blends primal rhythm with otherworldly experience, continuing to embrace a more uplifting and sensual incarnation of her ever-mystical sound——where trance meets transcendence, and fantasy meets physical release.Their RA profile lists Proxima.Recently at BASEMENT, House of Yes, Nowadays · often with Ron Like Hell, ROBUS, Carly Zeng, none of them here that night
