Who they are
“Gabalicious was born to two parents avidly in the music industry.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Gabalicious was born to two parents avidly in the music industry. Her father's side inherits talent from jazz and funk percussionist, Don Alias and jazz saxophonist, Sonny Stitt, and composer and writer, Edward Boatner. Her mom taught her the expansiveness of world music through her thousands of records and history in experimental radio hosting. Having shown an affinity for music from a very young age, Gabalicious has been fine-tuning her DJ skills with a unique repertoire of mixes, music elements, and samples. With her first-ever mix in Nuremberg, Germany, her smile and loyal supporters have kept the dream alive. She has performed in London, England, and SoHo, NYC to the Sequoia Mountains in California. With influences ranging from Happy House to OG Jungle Beat and World Bass, this is one DJ who will always have you leave wanting more.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Earthly Delights, Mood Ring · often with HoneyCafe, ANICHE, OddwOrld, none of them here that night

“Soo Intoit began DJ'ing in 2020, when booked for a Zoom party.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Soo Intoit began DJ'ing in 2020, when booked for a Zoom party. Believing it was a drag booking, she was informed a week before that the party actually wanted her to play music for an hour. After spending lots of time going out and working as a host, and frequently mentioning the desire to be a DJ, she decided this was the time to commit. She had her beginnings (other than the aforementioned Zoom party) in intimate basement gatherings, and later on rooftops. With her job being closed at the time, she was at an advantage, and practiced very frequently. By late 2021, she was presented with her first opportunity to produce a party--which is now CRITICAL HIT. What started as a bi-weekly Wednesday party with humble attendance, evolved into an event that maintains a strong following and crowd, and now takes place once a month on the weekends. This party features a PS2 at almost every event, and sometimes operates games at other parties, showing her interests in building communities around mutual hobbies, as well as providing a unique experience in what she does. The gaming influence is reflected in her DJ sets, too. She produces Juicy Fruit, a recurring bar night with a focus on danceable music the crowd can sometimes sing along too, and Omega. Omega is her sci-fi themed dance party, which she co-produces.Recently at Mood Ring, Happyfun Hideaway, Trans-Pecos · often with Xana 101, Spiral Sisters, L4RV4, none of them here that night
