Joiah is an Italian–Colombian singer, producer, and DJ based in New York whose approach to electronic music feels closer to ritual than performance. She gravitates toward the spaces where eras, textures, and energies blur — between 90s trance echoes, cosmic house sensibilities, raw house breaks, and the shadowy pulse of techno. Never tied to a single lane, she moves through styles like currents, guided by intuition, symbolism, and emotion. As a producer, she released “Alchemic Amazon” on BSR, featuring a remix by Paolo Mosca, alongside several independent projects. Her collaborations include work with Muted Noise (with Roger Gerressen), Picnic Records, Klassified, vocal contributions to Gojnea76, an appearance on Nathan Melja’s Djo Sinego, and a guest mix for R&S Records. She has also delivered mixes for The Lot Radio. Joiah holds a residency with Signal and Apollo Studio while further expanding her presence within the global underground landscape. She has performed across the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, France, and the United States, and has shared the stage with acts such as Mochakk, Deniro, Gojnea76, Sandrien, BELLA, VTSS, and more. In New York, she curates the underground series Sudden Logic and hosts Talks With Goddesses — The Artemisia Collective, a podcast devoted to female empowerment in the arts and sports, exploring intuition, identity, and the transformative force of community. “Joiah’s artistry is like a galaxy brain-scaled explosion of sounds. NYC-based producer and DJ Lauren Ritter (All Day I Dream, ReSolute, Rift Vision) traffics in personal, groove-driven, minimal, melodic house, and tech house. Her 2015 and 2016 All Day I Dream releases quickly became favorites among fans and critics, being described as “hypnotic,” “mesmerizing,” and “a bittersweet headrush.” Swoon, and title track, Lark, have since been featured on several BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes, expanding her reach well beyond the underground. Lauren unveiled her own imprint Rift Vision in 2020 during lockdown and has since released three emotive EPs encompassing her own solo compositions, collaborative works with Oakland-based poet Tenesha The Wordsmith (On The Corner), and remixes by lauded talent such as Octo Octa, Lawrence, Jenifa Mayanja, and Rrao. Ritter has also been back DJing in full force, with appearances incl the Zamna festival NYC & Miami, Do Not Sit Miami, Shameless Seattle, ReSolute NYC, and Public Records NYC, Robot Heart California, All Day I Dream Ibiza, and more. 2024 & 2025 saw a long-awaited return to Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream label, with Ritter being featured in their winter compilation.2025 started off with a bang, with Ritter making her Chilean debut at Piknic Electronik.
