MATTHEW LAW is a Philadelphia-bred DJ, producer and torchbearer for the city’s rich, party rocking legacy. When he moved to Brooklyn NY, he joined The Fool’s Gold Records team as a DJ, remixer and producer alongside the legendary A-Trak. Now, alongside DJing and music production, he’s added NYC operations manager for Wax Poetics magazine to the list. Law draws upon this vast musical knowledge during DJ sets, entertaining audiences in cities across the globe. He’s rocked crowds alongside such DJs as Benji B, Waajeed, SG Lewis, Jazzy Jeff, Questlove and more. Law has also spent time as the official tour DJ for Grammy Award-winning singer Jazmine Sullivan. As a producer, he returns to his impetus for becoming a DJ in the first place; Club, Broken Beat and House ––the rhythms that are closest to his own heartbeat. His debut EP entitled Rumble has already received critical acclaim and has been featured on 2 episodes of HBO’s breakout comedy series Southside. His most recent EP, MATT!, has been playlisted on Tidal’s “Future Proof.” Law has also released remixes and original music on Fool’s Gold, Sony and K7!/Planet E. In 2018, he released his 1st single featuring iconic underground singer/producer Seven Davis Jr. entitled “I Call Her.” In 2024, he expanded into the realm of live electronic production with a piece entitled “Sustainable Dystopia” at King Britt’s Blacktronika Festival. Matthew Law has toured extensively in the U.S., Europe and Asia since 2011. His versatility allows for a seamless transition from dance floor to stage, where he executes the precision routines that have become his calling card as a widely-respected selector, member of the Illvibe Collective and founder of the party series FRIENDS N FAM.House on 3, Beatdown on 1, Bass Music on 1 and Breakbeat on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Fool's Gold Records (1), Matthew Law Music (1) and Private Stock Records (3) (1); their RA profile also lists Sony. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Jupiter Disco, Le Bain, Elsewhere · often with Khalil, Eden, COSMO, none of them here that night

A prolific artist well-known for his relentless work rate, and six year stint as a DJ on BBC Radio 1Xtra, DJ Q’s speedy, characteristic sound first gained notoriety via his 2007 bassline smash hit ‘U Wot’, but it’s his tireless schedule that’s kept him secure in the minds of the record buying public. To date, DJ Q has over one hundred productions and remixes under his belt, his solo album, ‘Ineffable’, was released on Local Action in 2014, the collaborative TQD album, ‘UKG’, dropped in 2017, and his ‘All Night’ album was released earlier this year. Recent tracks ‘Time To Shine’ and ‘Rock Wit You’ with Jack Junior are the latest additions to what’s become an incredible discography, and heading into summer with a benchmark compilation series to his name, Q’s enthusiasm shows no sign of waning. It’s in the live arena that DJ Q’s technical ability and passion for the music really shines through. In autumn 2017 he launched the live project, ‘All Night’, a show that he toured for 9 days straight (totaling more than 50 hours playing time), and during which he dug deep into his archives, spinning a meld of house, garage, bassline, jungle and more. He has touched music fans globally securing tours in Europe, Asia with vision to add Australia, New Zealand & N.
