Wyatt Stevens is at the forefront of a young Brooklyn scene that's taking the dance music world by storm. Alongside friends and collaborators such as AceMo, Kush Jones, and DJ Swisha, he's created a genre-agnostic movement that celebrates all facets of Black electronic music, from old-school Detroit techno to the early days of jungle, drum & bass and more modern strains of American dance music. His HAUS Of ALTR label has become a hub for this community, releasing his own material as well as his critically acclaimed AceMoMA project with AceMo, and three massive compilations that define this new generation of producers. MoMA Ready makes dance music intuitively and without orthodoxy, where techno can suddenly morph into drum & bass and back again.Techno on 44, House on 37, Jungle on 16 and Deep House on 14. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on HAUS of ALTR (2) and Paraíso (1). labels on their catalogued releasesRecently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Dead Letter No. 9, H0L0 · often with Kush Jones, Regal86, DJ SWISHA, none of them here that night

the whole biography
I've been DJ'ing in NYC since 1997. Beginning with middle-school house parties and dances I fell in love with Jungle in my teens and played my first gig at Konkrete Jungle when I was 17. My obsession with Jungle has never subsided. Although over time my musical sensibilities have expanded to include a range of genres and rhythms, and the style of events I played expanded, something has always brought me back to the raucous chopped drums of early Jungle.Recently at Trans-Pecos, Home Sweet Home · often with DJ eh, amita, EQUISS, none of them here that night
Recently at Mood Ring, Rash, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with Rainbow Tutu, Tierney Cyren, Cryostatik, none of them here that night
