KAPOTE aka Mathias Modica, DJ, music researcher, keyboarrd wizzard, music producer and creative mind behind Toy Tonics records. The indie disco, funk house and organic dance music label from Berlin, that releases the music of key artists such as Coeo, Cody Currie, Sam Ruffillo and is also known for big party happenings around Europe (The Toy Tonics Jams) and cutting edge T shirt designs. Before creating Toy Tonics (with two friends) Modica used to make music under the name of MUNK und run Gomma records (2000 - 2015). Gomma was the label that defined the Y2K Indie dance sound along imprints like DFA and Output records.
