A pillar of the new American wave of queer underground clubbing, Aaron is co-founder of the infamous Hot Mass club in Pittsburgh. A loud, sleazy after-hours built inside of a gay sauna where anything goes until 7am every weekend. At Hot Mass, he programs both the queer Honcho party as well as the 20-years long techno party, Humanaut. More recently, Honcho has become known for their annual Honcho Campout festival - a tight-knit queer blitz of the Pennsylvania forest that has become a pinnacle event of underground American dance music. His sound is the American Midwest, sliding effortlessly between house and techno – everything sharing the common threads of heavy kicks, funk, and a slathering of the psychedelic.Recently at Signal, H0L0, BASEMENT · often with Clark Price, Honcho, d'Adhemar, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Lydo is a Filipino-born Vietnamese-American sound artist. As a resident DJ of BASEMENT NY, their distinctive sets explode the parameters of techno, deftly cutting across genres while retaining a highly personal emotional resonance. Whenever Lydo plays, it’s best to leave your expectations at the door and simply prepare for an unexpected array of sonic thrills, ranging from visceral and grooving to mind-bendingly experimental. A trans artist themselves, Lydo launched X-TRA.SERVICES to serve and create space for queer, trans, and nonbinary people of color. This ethos of care and insurgent collectivity runs through their broader practice. They have performed at Berlin Atonal, Draaimolen Festival, Bourse de Commerce, and Bassiani, as well as subterranean parties and festivals across North America, Europe, and Asia. Beyond the club, Lydo works with sound through installation, composition, and curation. Their abstract, experimental work spans museum and institutional contexts, including MoMA PS1, SculptureCenter, and Kunsthalle Basel, among others. In 2025, they launched care., an itinerant series for live and experimental sound that continues to explore new sonic forms in unexpected contexts.Their RA profile lists X-TRA.SERVICES.Recently at BASEMENT, Green Room NYC, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with The Carry Nation, Juana, Shaun J. “As a lifelong musician, Estro has always explored the visceral aspects of sound.”
their own biography
the whole biography
As a lifelong musician, Estro has always explored the visceral aspects of sound. From a young age, her interest in sonics manifested in a boundless desire for experimentation. With a background in jazz music as a trumpet player since childhood, Estro’s experiences with improvisation and performance on the stage found their way to the DJ booth. Her fervent, intense passion for expression and movement finds its way into textural, spine-tingling production and jacking, sweaty, sexy sessions on the dancefloor. Outspoken, driving, and deep, Estro's performances and sets often feel like a manifesto of sorts, rolling and driving tension to its limit and pushing the envelope for New York's musical landscape. Estro's musical explorations have led her to digging through the deep, rich history of techno & house, blending timeless, smashing deep cuts with some of the genre's newest, most novel offerings. Her philosophy of maintaining digging culture leads to an eclectic, potent, and deeply rooted sound, prepared to be pushed into a futuristic and forward-thinking direction. Serene, jazzy, atmospheric selections of deep house, minimal, and dub techno are intertwined with driving, thumping peak-hours techno & trance. Estro uses her ever-expanding knowledge of her selections to captivate the dancefloor and continue to expand the capabilities of sound. As the founder of Orchidance, her new event series and personal project, Estro seeks to take her explorations of dance music and its surrounding culture into a more intentional and inclusive space. She hopes to continue creating a space for serenity and self-discovery, with an eclectic and personal curation of artists and collaborators from her ever-expanding rolodex of talent local and abroad. In the coming years, Estro hopes to continue to expand the capabilities for Orchidance to be a place of rejuvenation, enrichment, and exploration for New York's music community.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, SILO, H0L0 · often with senoritajuicy, Leafy Greens, Amy L'Nitrate, none of them here that night
