He´s the Techno punk, the wanderer between the worlds: Berlin DJ and producer Alex Ridha, better known as BOYS NOIZE, made his DJ debut at the age of 15, taking a teenager´s love of house and techno to a global scale. Ridha established himself as one of the world’s preeminent wizards behind the decks, not only technically but also as a showman. His sets are as uplifting as they are unforgettable. He’s been anointed one of the “Top 10 DJ’s Who Rule The World” by Rolling Stone, elected “Best Electronic Act” by Beatport 3 years in a row, and lauded by virtually every dance authority. He´s rocked the world’s biggest stages, lit up Coachella three times, stormed Lollapalooza, and headlined festivals and clubs on every continent – from Berlin techno temple Berghain, Manchester's Warehouse Project to Fuji Rock in Japan and Bon Iver’s Eaux Claires Festival in the woods of Wisconsin. All on his own terms. As an artist and producer, BOYS NOIZE has created a sound that is peerless, uncompromising, and enduring – respected in the scene, banging from underground to mainstream, his work flies in the face of convention at every turn. He’s remixed Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, David Lynch and Nine Inch Nails, collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Jarvis Cocker and Santigold, worked on Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Special” as well as the soundtrack and theme song for Oliver Stone’s film “Snowden” and german blockbuster “Who Am I” , and founded similarly diverse group projects with genius pianist Chilly Gonzales (Octave Minds), Virgil Abloh (Off-White), Erol Alkan and Mr. Oizo (Handbraekes), to name a few. Ridha is also running his own label, Boysnoize Records (BNR), which he founded in 2005. Originally started to retain his full artistic freedom and in order to release his own music under BOYS NOIZE, BNR became a home for multidirectional quality electronic music, having formed a league of its own whilst escaping any ill-fitting genre pigeonholes. The Berlin-based “non-conformist DIY anarchist collective” (Dazed & Confused) have celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2015 and count more than 150 releases including albums from Chilly Gonzales, Spank Rock, SCNTST, Siriusmo, Djedjotronic, Housemeister and Cardopusher, EP´s from Dave Clarke, Josh Wink, Peaches, Strip Steve, Jensen Interceptor as well as BOYS NOIZE´s debut “Oi Oi Oi” (2007), “Power” (2009), “Out Of The Black” (2012), "Strictly Raw Vol.1" (2015), “Mayday” (2016) and his latest "Strictly Raw Vol.2" "... and the spinner will spin. and the bass will be thunder subterranean. and the river will rise as raindrops. from berlin. my favorite electronic music in the world. immediate. throbbing." - Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) “One of the most prolific and brilliant artists.” - Zane Lowe (Beats 1) "BOYS NOIZE is the only DJ who can play underground techno for 30,000 people." - 2MANYDJS / Soulwax

  • Katie Rex

New York City · 47 bookings since Sep 2023

“Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs. The Bound founder and Basement resident has spent the last decade and changed pushing a singular vision of wild, uncompromising rave power. Fusing throbbing techno, ripping hardgroove, key selections from NY’s vibrant underground and nods to her foundational loves - goth & industrial - Rex has developed a well-earned reputation for turning the dancefloor on its head. Her sets move with the perfect balance of precision and controlled chaos, transmuting a gleefully grungy menace into liberatory catharsis. Rex’s career began in Philadelphia where, in true DIY spirit, she began organizing parties around a key, glaring gap. Factory Girls was Rex’s first party series, an all-femme party that highlighted some of the 2010’s most vital new artists and helped point the way forward out of an oppressively male-focused monoculture. Word spread quickly, and early alliances with NY’s Discwoman drew Rex up to NY more and more. A few short years later she found herself at the center of a cultural renaissance. Regular sets at the revered, secretive Unter party, close ties with Bossa Nova Civic Club, and in 2016, the first edition of Bound all came quickly, and Rex’s position in the culture was soon indisputable. Bound has become Rex’s calling card: a NY-based, nationally produced kink party that seeks to redefine the form. Landing at the revered institution Basement, as one of the inaugural residencies at the club in 2019. As with Factory Girls, Bound pushes back against the ensconced patriarchal power dynamics that have made many femme and queer people feel unwelcome. It instead creates a space that is directly, unapologetically for those groups, with outstanding artists to boot. Rex’s DJing at these parties inevitably sets the standard; her capacity to both wield music of brutal power and craft an immersive, captivating, even joyful journey embodies the entire ethos of the night. Through this passion for amplifying artists, Rex created a boutique label featuring releases from Dax J, Silent Servant, Terence Fixmer, Bored Lord, Kilbourne, Ireen Amnes, Kontravoid, and more. After a 6 year Lot Radio residency, featuring a host of guests including VTSS, Rebekah, Sedef Adasï, Akua, Silent Servant, and Hyperaktivist, Bound release a new mix series In 2025. Rex has become an international presence, with regular gigs across the States and overseas. Her sets have been sought after beyond the club by Boiler Room and luxury houses Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Burberry, and Parfums de Marley. Press features in Vogue, The Face, Paper Magazine, Document Journal, Vice, The New Yorker, and Nylon Magazine have lauded her as the face of a new wave in nightlife culture. As her vision has come to shape US nightlife, the power of her music has only become more honed and riveting. What’s come before is only the beginning.
Their RA profile lists Bound and Magic City.

    the whole biography
From intimate underground gatherings to packed main rooms, ISAbella has become a leading figure in today’s global electronic scene. As co-founder of the celebrated LGBTQ+ party, platform and collective MARICAS, she has crafted inclusive spaces that celebrate queer culture and foster connection both on and off the dancefloor. Her impact, however, extends far beyond the city – ISAbella is now a powerful presence on the international electronic music circuit, known for emotionally charged sets that blend house and techno into deeply transformative dancefloor journeys. Originally from Cali, Colombia, ISAbella found her creative home in Barcelona, where she co-founded MARICAS in 2018—a party that quickly evolved into a multidisciplinary platform and record label. In 2020, she released her debut EP Audio Exótica on MARICAS Records and launched the livestream series The Art of Staying at Home, which offered a lifeline of connection and joy during lockdown. As a producer, ISAbella continues to explore hypnotic and percussive sonic landscapes that reflect her Latin American roots and club sensibilities. Her music has been featured on respected imprints like Peach Discs and MARICAS Records, with tracks that balance raw emotional intensity and bold rhythmic energy—further solidifying her voice as a singular artist in the global scene. Her reach has since gone global, with standout performances at world-renowned festivals like Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, Sónar, Dekmantel, Dimensions and Lentekabinet. On the club circuit, she’s brought her distinctive sound to iconic, legendary venues including Berghain, Fabric, Nitsa and Fold. Beyond the decks, ISAbella continues to push for visibility and liberation within the scene—championing a vision of club culture that is radical, joyful and deeply human.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Alírio started her career as a DJ in 2019 in Uberlândia, a small town in Minas Gerais - Brazil. Head behind the BAILE034 collective, she produced parties, balls and other cultural activities, promoting ballroom culture, which was rising at the time in Brazil. In 2021, she moved to São Paulo and since then has been conquering dance floors across the country. With ability to create narratives through DJ sets always full of energy, she goes through different musical genres, exploring femininity through sensual and complex beats. Her musical research highlights sounds produced by dissident artists, mainly from Latin America. In 2022, Alírio unpretentiously began the production of mashups and bootlegs, some of them became club anthems, such as the first collaboration with Guza in Unique Tribal, earning the duo an invitation to participate in the remix album of the brazilian band Noporn (Adoro Djs), celebrating 20 years of career and other collections from national and international labels such as Choccy Biccy (UK), Volquete (AR), AUX1 (ES) and TTT (BR). In 2024, the multidisciplinary label Tandera Records was born in partnership with the artists Bassan, Guza, Lady Letal and Tuxe, a platform to release music, mixes (with monthly episodes on the brazilian radio function.fm) and production of visual art. Alírio is resident of the brazilian underground parties Mamba Negra (SP), Versa (SP), Buero (SP) and already performed at prominent parties and clubs such as Baile em Chernobyl (SP/Berlin), Deseo (AR), Kode (RJ), NBOMB (PE), Silicose (MG) and Atrita (CE). This year she will make her debut in Europe at the Mamba Negra's showcase at the Whole festival (Germany) along with Cashu in August.

  • Markus

“2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Markus is known for his versatility, playing a variety of genres including EBM, House, Italo, 80s Darkwave, Breaks, and more. However, he is most renowned for his unique blend of old school electro and new school brolectro, with a distinctive touch of lesbian techno. Born to Palestinian immigrant parents in Las Vegas, he grew up in the suburbs during the 90s, where he developed a deep appreciation for 90s R&B music. In middle school, he discovered trance via Napster and limewire, igniting his passion for electronic music. Markus's move to San Francisco marked a significant turning point in his musical journey. Immersing himself in the city's vibrant underground dance scene, he learned from the renowned Honey Soundsystem, a queer collective, and the iconic Club Lonely. He also became obsessed with the local garage rock scene and perhaps his most significant musical inspiration, Beach House. In 2010, Markus co-founded the indie chillwave band Seatraffic with his friend Brandon Harrison. As the band's synth player and vocalist, Markus contributed to their unique sound, leading to several successful releases over five years. During this period, Markus found his true self on the dance floor, forming his first queer friendships and feeling a profound sense of belonging. This community became his family and played a crucial role in shaping his identity. Inspired by artists like early Grimes and Purity Ring, Markus began producing his own crossover tracks. However, his career as an architectural professional meant that music took a secondary role for a time. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Markus received his first pair of turntables from his then-boyfriend, now best-friend, Dylan. This gift ignited his passion for DJing, and during lockdown, he honed his skills as a bedroom DJ, playing at the lockdown afters with friends. Markus's most influential mentor, Robert Yang (Bezier), introduced him to Ouissam, of Savage Club Hanoi and the founder of Equation Festival in Vietnam. Ouissam challenged Markus to perform at the Rave Cave during Equation Festival 2023. Markus prepared a new live set and made his comeback after a five-year hiatus, performing original productions like "Want It Back" and "With Your Girlfriends," two tracks deeply rooted in the original sounds of Detroit Electro of the 90s, with a San Francisco and Dutch sprinkling of EBM on top. On the same trip, Markus celebrated his birthday at Savage Hanoi, where he was asked to replace Sedaf Adassi, who had to cancel due to COVID-19. This unexpected opportunity led to Markus's first DJ gig at one of Asia's most prestigious clubs. Back in Brooklyn, Markus continued to build his reputation, performing at venues like Bossa Nova Civic Club and participating in fundraisers for Palestine. Later he eventually secured regular gigs at Basement, where he plays in both the Main Room and the multi-genre-focused Studio. In 2024, Markus embarked on his first DJ tour in Asia, performing at renowned clubs such as .Tag, Pawnshop, Heim, and returning to Savage in Hanoi. This year, he will debut at Nowadays for their 24-hour party, nonstop, alongside Lena Wilkens and Vladimir Ivkovic. Markus is also set to perform at this year's Wire Festival at the Knockdown Center in May and make his European debut at Herrensauna's CSD Party in July.
