“Born into a world where rhythm and melody were as natural as breathing, Mac Declos was destined to become a musical force.”

Born into a world where rhythm and melody were as natural as breathing, Mac Declos was destined to become a musical force. With a blues guitarist father and a singer-dancer mother, Mac’s childhood was a haven for artistic expression. By the age of five, he was already absorbing these influences, finding his first love in hip-hop dance, a passion that quickly revealed his prodigious talent for timing and musicality. Mac's artistic journey began in contemporary dance, where he earned a degree from the esteemed Centre Chorégraphique National of Roubaix. However, his boundless curiosity soon drew him to the world of house and then electronic music. The transition was effortless; as a former professional dancer, Mac understands the essence of groove. With a brilliant sound that defies expectations, Mac Declos quickly became known for his intense, precise, and technical techno sets: he’s a natural. His ability to blend mental and physical grooves with such finesse sets him apart as a virtuoso, a master of his craft. About to release his second album on Mama Told Ya, Mac Declos has remained relentlessly creative. Last year, Mac set the tone with the Angel Eyes EP alongside Pablo Bozzi on Second Sight, a heartfelt love letter to house and club music. That momentum fully crystallized in fall 2025 with the release of his second album on Mama Told Ya, Nothing Stands Still. Spanning 12 timeless tracks, the record unfolds as a multigenre statement, fluid and emotional, bridging introspective songwriting with forward-thinking club energy. In Spring 2024, Mac Declos dropped «Endless Cycle,» his new pulsating EP on XX Lab. Prior to «Endless Cycle,» Mac showcased his skills with previous releases that garnered widespread acclaim. His 2022 EP «Cuir en Cage» on Myst and his first full-length LP, the 10-track «Hard Work Always Pays Off,» released on Mama Told Ya in 2023, demonstrated his knack for captivating audiences. Collaborations with artists like Anetha, François X, Kuss, and Lacchesi further emphasized his multifaceted talent and influence in the music scene, cementing his status as a rising star. Mac Declos is far more than just a DJ and producer—he's a phenomenon. With a masterful command of rhythm and groove, combined with a fearless curiosity and genre-fluid approach, he’s one of the most exciting DJs to experience on the dance floor. He evokes a joyful yet frenetic vitality, transforming every set into an unforgettable high-energy experience and solidifying his role as a defining force in the future of techno.Their RA profile lists Mama told ya, Agora Records and XX LAB.Recently at Nowadays, BASEMENT · often with FENIM0RE, SELESSA T., Kim She, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Debit is a composer, producer, and performer whose work spans avant-garde experimentation, global club mutations, and high-impact sound design. Her practice bridges high-concept composition, site-specific art, and visceral club performance, uniting cultural depth with bold sonic experimentation in ways few artists can. Since 2017, she has been a pioneering force in the exportation and recontextualization of Latin American club music, shaping its global reception well before it became a marketable trend. At a time when the sound was still emerging from underground spaces, she pushed it into dialogue with techno, global bass, and experimental electronics, building a blueprint for cross-cultural club innovation that resisted clichés and challenged the global scene’s sonic hierarchy. Her records are research-driven and conceptually rigorous. Animus, System, and The Long Count ,the latter named by The Guardian as the #3 Best Global Album of 2022. She has been recognized by Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, and The Guardian for expanding the vocabulary of electronic music. On the dance floor, Debit’s DJ sets blend Latin-inspired percussive rhythms (guaracha, tribal, raptor house, and Brazilian funk) with techno and bass-heavy grooves. Her fast-cut mixing style, grounded in advanced computer synthesis, creates sets that are as body-moving as they are culturally transformative, connecting underground traditions to forward-looking sound, while performing worldwide at festivals such as Roskilde, Berlin Atonal, Primavera, and MUTEK Montréal/Mexico. In recent years, her focus has expanded to landmark compositions and site-specific works engaging with layered temporalities, historical narratives, and spatial acoustics. These projects have brought her to major art and music institutions, including commissions for the Whitney Museum, Venice Biennale, and TONO Festival. She has presented work and led discussions at Haus der Kunst (Munich), Unsound Festival (Poland), the Audio Engineering Society, and MUTEK.Their RA profile lists Modern Love, Naafi and Kebrada.Recently at Bar Laika, Issue Project Room, Paragon · often with Andy Stott, Rosa Pistola, Meth Math, none of them here that night
