Straight out of Brooklyn, New York, Simon Heyliger is walking in the footsteps of some of the most recognized DJ's out today; who have all had an impact on his style. He was partying at Club Exit, a New York City Super Club in the late 90's, watching 3,000 people dancing and having the time of their lives when Simon realized his dream of touring the world and becoming an internationally known Disc Jockey. He wanted to be the one to provide this therapeutic enjoyment to the masses through dance music. And with that in mind, DJ Simon Heyliger was born. His unique style of spinning consists of electronic music genres such as House, Tech House and Techno. He is constantly inspired by legendary New York City disc jockey, Danny Tenaglia. Simon has spun at Pacha NYC, Cielo, District 36, Webster Hall, and Sullivan Room just to name a few. He has been hand selected to DJ at the Winter Music Conference in Miami & has been asked to play at Sunday School presented by Made Event for the 2nd year in row. Some world renowned DJ's/Producers he’s played along with are Adam Beyer, Gary Beck, Hermanez, Nick Curly, Sharam, The Martinez Brothers, Victor Calderone and many more. Simon has plans to stay focused on creating his own productions this year. This Brooklyn breakout star is definitely one to keep your eye on. He is already garnering a local following and soon music lovers worldwide will be introduced to this class act.Acid House on 1, House on 1, Tech House on 1 and Techno on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesRecently at Dead Letter No. 9, Signal · often with Cosmo, Martín Y Corazón, Morgan, none of them here that night

Born in Istanbul, Turkey to musically inclined parents, Gio Gulez moved to New York in 2002 and in the past couple of years he has been the icing on the cake in the New York techno scene in such roles as a DJ, promoter and nightclub manager. Gio has played alongside the likes of DJ Three, Guido Schneider, Audiofly to name just a few and since 2005 he has been throwing and promoting some memorable parties in the East Village of New York. Music has always been a part of Gio’s life. He started playing guitar at the age of 14 and like many adolescent boys his age his impetus for picking up the guitar was to simply pick up girls. But as his love for music (and his pick-up skills) blossomed, music became an increasingly important part of his life in it of itself. He started playing the piano at the age of 16 and at the age of 20, Gio began taking opera voice lessons. While growing up, Gio was heavily influenced by such artists as Guns & Roses, Metallica, The Cure, Depeche Mode and New Order. At the age of 23, Gio played electronic music on the decks for the first time and his love of synthesizers, drum machines and sequencers was born. Gio started out playing classical house but as he started listening to such DJ’s as Richie Hawtin and Gaiser, his style of music shifted from classical house to minimal. Gio started producing tracks a few years ago and his style can be currently classified as Deep Tech and Groovy Instrumental Dubby Bass. He likes to take it slowly to ensure every beat resonates in the hearts of listeners and make people feel more gravity. Gio predicts that electronic music will have a bigger influence in all genres of music and that electronic music will become a more intellectual pursuit that will have an impact on all aspects of people’s lives not unlike hip hop 30 years ago. Stay tuned for upcoming gigs and releases from Gio Gulez.Recently at Apollo Studio · often with Todd Fatjo, Giovani, 34th Street John, none of them here that night
