Rainbow Tutu plays wide-ranging, unpretentious sets that prioritize setting and energy over genre and ego. Expect the unexpected: everything from Balearic, new wave, and Chicago house to experimental club, leftfield bass, and footwork (plus the odd ambient and listening sets). You can find Rainbow Tutu DJing at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Happyfun Hideaway, Rash, Purgatory, Rebecca's, and many other fine establishments and DIY spaces across NYC Rainbow Tutu organizes and hosts the TASTE THE RAINBOW series, which has thrown 16 free parties at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Rash, Purgatory, and Rebecca's. TASTE THE RAINBOW has featured everything from DJ sets by local legends and live performances by up-and-coming avant-garde artists, to charity fundravers and free skillshare courses on "How to DJ 101," "How to Use CDJS," and "How to Operate Club Lights." Every party offers free food, earplugs, and fun lil giveaways, plus a donation drive for local community fridges. Rainbow Tutu also co-organizes and co-hosts Open Decks for Gaza Mixes and sets: https://www.mixcloud.com/rainbowtutudj/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rainbowtutudj/ Email: rainbowtutudj@gmail.comRecently at Rash, The Rose, Happyfun Hideaway · often with Duriya, explains nothing, Berky, none of them here that night
