the whole biography
MPeach, aka Mariana Martín Capriles, is a Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist living in Brooklyn, NY. As a vocalist, producer, DJ, and audiovisual artist, she intertwines bass-heavy electronic sounds with rhythms rooted in traditional music. Having built a body of work that explores sounds of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa, as well as the possibilities of these sounds in new electronic territories, MPeach lives in the liminal borderlands between honoring folk sounds rooted in rich cultural histories and envisioning the future of Latin American sound. By engaging Venezuelan folkloric music as a tradition that remains alive and evolving, she challenges stagnant notions of authenticity by creating work that is responsive to the forces that shape its creators, listeners, and dancers, using electronic music as a vehicle for preserving tradition in the collective memory. She has toured across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. MPeach has released music with Dutty Artz, Abstractor, Nacional Records, Interscope, Majia, On the Corner, and her own imprint, Peachtwon. Her music appears in several official motion picture soundtracks, including films such as Piedra, Papel o Tijera and Skate Kitchen, as well as television series like HBO’s Betty. She has performed alongside Arca, Cardopusher also known as Safety Trance, DJ Babatr, DJ Yirvin, and Phran at the first-ever Boiler Room in Caracas, Venezuela.Recently at Paragon, Elsewhere, Le Bain · often with JOSELO, Kamikaze, Tambor y Caña, none of them here that night

Púrpura Profundo’s passion for music and movement began early, driven by a love for dance and a natural curiosity for rhythm. She played drums throughout school, an experience that shaped her sense of timing and groove. While based in Bogotá, she became deeply involved in the local electronic music scene — promoting events, organizing a dedicated DJ room for practice, and helping to host workshops led by local Colombian producers. These sessions offered emerging DJs a chance to learn directly from active voices within the scene. Her work centered on building community and creating inclusive, accessible spaces where new talent could grow and connect.Recently at Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, The Meadows · often with Secret Raver, Prince of Queens, MEDINA, none of them here that night
