Johnny Mahon was born and raised in New York, although you wouldn’t know it just from hearing his music. His refreshing blend between his NYC roots and his affinity for UK dance music has fans hooked, as he continues to further his mission to be a musical bridge across the Atlantic and fertilize the spread of UK Garage and Drum & Bass in the US. After emerging in 2022, he now has an admirable collection of releases under his belt, with the likes of Deep Root Records, Southpoint Records, The Rust and even a feature on the legendary UKF Youtube channel. The versatility in his productions are part of what keeps bringing people back - shuffling his discography could land you any range of emotions from lighthearted excitement to discourteous rebellion. His rising stature within the industry has been bolstered by securing some rather reputable bookings, such as the main stage of Elements Festival, beside industry giants Skrillex, Tchami and John Summit, as well as tour support for Chase & Status, Bou, Camo & Krooked and Wilkinson. His sets are always an audial marvel, with it forever a mystery if the next tune’s BPM is going to be 174 or 140. If you’re a fan of UKG & DNB and want to see their popularity expand in North America, then stay locked in to Johnny’s ascent, as he’s already well on his way to becoming a major player in the scene.Recently at Elsewhere, Baby's All Right, The Meadows · often with Yetti, MATT BEATZ, Dave Shichman, none of them here that night

As a former resident Emcee of the Bronx collective "LIVE FROM UNDERGROUND NY, I put my skills as a wordsmith to the test by delivering thought provoking poetry peppered with social commentary and witty one liners. As a pivotal member of the Hip Hop group "Dead MC society", I was able to express that same Lyrical prowess in the Hip Hop arena. using classic-esque beats, high level wordplay and and a plethora of flows, representing the art with dignity and style. Part of the Artist Collective "Eleven SixtySix", I have been able to explore Darker Ethereal soundscapes, as well as a crash course in independent production. Working alongside amazing talents such as BLKZEN, Kaiju Killer Klan, Monsters on the Horizon and many more, Inwas able to create a deeper sound and a firm niche for my music. Part of Earthtone NYC, alongside Gi Major and others, I was able to find a solid footing for his UK inspired audio palette. growing up as a part of NYCs rave scene, I always had a place in m6 heart for UK music, whether it be Grime, Dubstep, Garage, DnB, Jungle etc. Its only natural that I would find himself a part of NYCs Grime Collective, with radio sets on Rinse.fm alongside D.J. Oblig and Marcus Nasty of Nasty Crew fame, Grime is definitely a pillar of my sound. combining his sharp wit and his renaissance-esque vernacular L.O.C. always Delivers a unique audio experienceRecently at The Gutter, Main Drag Music, Elsewhere · often with samisosa, Samantha DaSilva, Castillonaire, none of them here that night
