You may have heard amita at beloved NYC clubs like Public Records, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Central Park SummerStage, Mood Ring, Trans-Pecos, Market Hotel, Elsewhere and more. They have been featured on mixes with the Lot Radio, SWU/Rinse FM, Everyday Junglist, Room 303, Tokyo Beer Labs, and more. amita has supported artists like Laurie Anderson, LTJ Bukem, Takuya Nakamura, and more. they are a resident with Hong Kong Community Radio, hosting the show "futago". Living in Brooklyn by way of Karachi, Pakistan, Dynoman is widely credited as an instrumental figure in the formation and development of the Karachi underground and Pakistan’s electronic music scene. He has been producing electronic music under the Dynoman moniker since 2009, and co-founded Forever South, Pakistan’s first internationally recognized digital label, in 2012. Over the years, his sound has evolved alongside his lived experience, remaining rhythm-forward, percussion-driven, and rooted in movement. After relocating to New York in 2017, Dynoman founded Rare Frequency Transmissions, which he continues to co-run. He is a frequent presence in the Brooklyn underground and self-releases much of his work through Dynoman Music, showcasing a wide breadth of styles and approaches. When stepping into the booth, his sets are shaped by the moment rather than pre-planning, often unfolding without a fixed trajectory as he responds to the energy of the space and the room. In 2023, Dynoman co-founded Tarka, a project celebrating diaspora through artistic practice. Yaz performs solo sets with violin/voice/electronics that comprise songs, improvisations, and composed music – aptly displayed on their sophomore album AFTER (PTP, 2025), created in residency at Pioneer Works. As a DJ, they frequently combine percussive and traditional musics of the global south, Black American dance genres, and hardcore kicks in high-energy club sets – and “literally anything” for the radio in fluid narrative-driven mixes. Yaz has recently performed at Dweller Forever (Public Records), Paragon, The Lot Radio, Nowadays, Trans-Pecos, Mood Ring, The Music Gallery (Toronto), and Gaudeamus Festival (Utrecht), among other spaces in NYC and internationally. Yaz additionally performs as “death ambient” and hardcore DJ b2b project “medium.” in deep collaboration with creative partner gg200bpm.
