Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Dane’s journey in music began in the church and as a professional contemporary dancer, embedding a natural rhythm in his life. As an elusive multi-hyphenate artist, his DJ career kicked off at Lizdas in Kaunas, Lithuania, where he swiftly became one of Lithuania’s most beloved and charismatic DJs. His talents extended to hosting as an artist liaison at various clubs and festivals across Lithuania and securing a long-standing radio residency at Radio Vilnius. From Berlin’s Renate and Refuge Worldwide to secret parties in Los Angeles, he’s now making waves in New York City’s nightlife as one to watch. Deveraux’s sets are a must-experience where you can expect a seamless blend of Chicago, Detroit and New York House & Techno, to Jersey and Baltimore Club, and the dynamic beats of the Ballroom scene. After over a decade in in NYC nightlife, Papa has been quietly making a name for himself in the Brooklyn underground as a DJ for the past few years. Known for his versatility and a no-limits approach to DJing, Papa eschews normal genre boundaries in his sets and brings high octane energy to every club. He has made the rounds at some of NY's most beloved clubs - including Elsewhere, Le Bain, Black Flamingo, Nightmoves & Baby's All Right - and shines on his home court, Good Room. Where Papa has truly taken creative reigns and built a community of dancers, friends & artists, is through his DIY party Terrazza. Taking a Brooklyn backyard and transforming it into a haven for music that has a purpose, Terrazza brings together DJs from all different corners of Brooklyn & greater NY nightlife. The result is a proper, long-format day-into-night ripper that has been growing since its inception in 2024. Papa strives with every appearances to challenge listeners while introducing them to music they might have never heard, drawing from a wide swath of influences - including 90s progressive house, 80s new wave, NY & Detroit techno, & Italian house.
