“From a young age, Lorenzo Lacchesi was immersed in music.”
their own biography
the whole biography
From a young age, Lorenzo Lacchesi was immersed in music. Growing up surrounded by CDs, thanks to his parents working at Philips, he explored everything from rock to jazz and classical. As a teenager, he studied piano, played bass in various bands, and discovered electronic music at 15, drawn by the French Touch movement. After high school, Lorenzo pursued sound engineering, worked at Radio France, and co-founded his first techno label, Péché Mignon, with friends. Becoming Lacchesi, his focus shifted to warehouse techno. His first major bookings came through the Parisian scene where he refined his industrial and rave-influenced sound. During this period, he co-founded his second label, Maison Close, a platform for emerging talent with an eclectic and hybrid musical vision. Lacchesi’s sound balances minimalist techno with trance, taking cues from artists like Regent, The Advent, Mathys Lenne, Rrose, Helena Hauff, Spekki Webu, W92. Known for his fast-paced, high-energy DJ sets, he crafts introspective journeys with jittery melodies, minimal grooves, and experimental elements. His productions, however, span a broader spectrum, from hard-hitting techno and uptempo beats to glitchy IDM and ambient soundscapes. Lacchesi has released music on labels like Mama Told Ya, EXTRA ENERGY, Matière, BCCO, and Bipolar Disorder. His own label, Maison Close, has seen him release tracks on various compilations, as well as two LPs: P*NK (2021) and Based On A True Story (2024). He remains a prominent figure in the scene, consistently surrounded by close-knit circle of friends like Mac Declos, Kuss, and more recently, Vel. His standout remix of Baraka’s track «Half Faces» has racked up nearly 2M listens. In early January 2026, he released the split EP High & Dry with close collaborator JKS, jointly issued on Maison Close Records and Smile Sessions. 2025 marked a pivotal year, with Lacchesi touring extensively across the globe and performing at major festivals including Monegros, Pitch, ADE – Into the Woods, Nuits Sonores… Following a widely acclaimed SECTION mix, he was also announced as a resident DJ for London’s Tech Couture parties. Lacchesi’s love for loops and his relentless pursuit of harmony drive his high-octane, multigenre sets. Known for creating intense, rollercoaster-like journeys, he builds tension to the point where the body can’t take it anymore, only to offer a full, euphoric release. His performances are wild and fiery, embodying his Mediterranean energy, Italian temperament, and playful humor. Curious about everything (people, sounds, and experiences), he brings an infectious energy to the club, leaving the dance floor in a frenzy. Lacchesi thrives on resilience, laughter, and sweat, always pushing the limits to deliver unforgettable moments.Their RA profile lists Bipolar Disorder, Mama told ya, KR Records, EXTRA ENERGY and 1 more.Last at BASEMENT in Nov 2025 · often with Nene H, Elvin, ROBUS, none of them here that night
“Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’. When behind the decks she takes approach for the moment of release in the most powerful dancefloor experiences, when clothes come off and the energy reaches fever pitch. This sensual attitude manifests in the way she plays – a constant rush of high-intensity techno with little respite as she rips through a collection which spans the mid 90s to the mid 00s. She’s no vinyl elitist, but in touching a pair of Technics she found an internal excitement which was lacking from CDJs, where the tension around the mix and the story embedded in the grooves of a record feed into the energy of the party. She glides through her record bag after ceaseless hours of digging and selecting with an instinctive code which defines her unique sound. As her identity as a DJ takes an upwards curve, Laure views her path as a quest to continually find the tracks which fit her particular creative vision, pulling together the pieces of the puzzle from decades of techno culture carved into a near-infinite pool of uptempo, forward-facing machine music. As a woman in a male-dominated scene, she also pushes for a more inclusive climate on all regards, and considers her ever-increasing visibility an opportunity to inspire and enact positive change. With her husky Roxy (named after one of the first queer underground music clubs in Amsterdam) by her side, she holds true to techno’s inherent futurism by creating something new and ever-evolving from the already existing music she discovers and blends. The end result is a sound which celebrates honesty and integrity in the face of modern life’s rampant, paper-thin perfectionism.often with ROBUS, SUMME, HAMY, none of them here that night
“Drawing from Detroit’s foundational influence and the darker edges of contemporary European club music, she crafts immersive, tension-driven sets built on heavy percussion, layered textures, and driving low-end energy.”

Drawing from Detroit’s foundational influence and the darker edges of contemporary European club music, she crafts immersive, tension-driven sets built on heavy percussion, layered textures, and driving low-end energy. Her approach to DJing centers on narrative and atmosphere, creating long-form journeys where tracks dissolve into one another through mounting pressure and cathartic release. Originally developing her craft in Boston through close collaboration with the INFRA collective, KXAH became deeply involved in the underground DIY circuit before relocating to New York City. During that time, she co-founded the Aversion event platform and label, helping build collaborative events and releases alongside collectives and artists from across the US and Europe, including Detroit Techno Militia, BCCO, Maison Fauna, and Uncoiled. Though no longer involved with the platform, the experience helped shape her approach to underground culture, collaboration, and independent artist infrastructure. Beyond the club, KXAH’s work extends deeply into experimental listening culture and interdisciplinary curation. Previously curating for Silence Please, a high-fidelity speaker building company and immersive listening showroom in New York, where she programmed and hosted experimental ambient sessions centred around intentional listening and sound system culture. Working within the showroom’s acoustically focused environment, she curated performances and listening experiences featuring artists such as Neel, Function, Amelia Holt, Amma Atteria and other experimental live performers, vinyl selectors, and sound artists. The series explored the intersection of ambient music, spatial sound, psychoacoustics, and deep listening, reflecting KXAH’s ongoing interest in the emotional and physical impact of sound beyond the dancefloor. Her independently curated “Fight Club” events further expanded this community-driven approach. Hosted inside a fighting gym under the motto “Fighters Not Lovers,” the series created a platform highlighting female and multidisciplinary creatives, fostering collaboration between DJs, visual artists, designers, performers, and emerging talent within underground communities. As a performer, KXAH has appeared at influential venues and underground institutions across New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, and the East Coast, including Basement, Paragon, Marble Bar, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Good Room, Refuge, and Leland City Club. She has also performed at festivals including The Great Beyond and Techtoit. In March 2026, KXAH released “The State Of The Mind” through Amsterdam-based label and collective Donker as part of the compilation DNKRVA004, a release featuring female artists from across the international underground electronic scene, with proceeds supporting breast cancer awareness and research initiatives in the Netherlands.
