Willy Soul is a Brooklyn-based producer, DJ, MC, and music curator known for his signature blend of funk-driven energy, global underground knowledge, and dancefloor storytelling. A central figure in both NYC nightlife and the global roller-skating scene, he has held residencies at Good Room and Public Records, alongside his long-running warehouse series Funky Seshwa. He also serves as Music Director, curator, and resident DJ for Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace at Rockefeller Center, Xanadu Roller Arts in Bushwick, and Europe’s flagship skate festival, Skate Love Barcelona—shaping the sound and spirit of every space he touches. In 2025, he joined Louie Vega’s Funki Cadets producer collective on Vega Records, debuting with their collaboration “Feelin’ Good Tonight.” His next project, NY/CDMX, with Mexican electronic artist Pahua, is set for release on TheJazzDiaries in Summer 2026. Hard to pin down, Willy is a seasoned selector with a deep affinity for diverse sounds and movements, moving fluidly from psychedelic, Latin, and Far East selections to jazz, minimal, and peak-time dancefloor cuts. Willy has toured internationally, playing everything from gritty warehouse parties in NYC and Detroit to historic theaters in Ibiza, skate jams along the coast of Portugal, beaches in Naples, and major global platforms like Amsterdam Dance Event and Miami Music Week. He has shared the stage with icons including Kaytranada, Moodymann, Louie Vega, and DJ Harvey. A fixture in the world’s leading hi-fi listening bars—Dante’s HiFi (Miami), Brilliant Corners (London), Public Records (NYC), and Sans Soleil (Montréal—he is widely recognized as a trusted record digger with a deep love for jazz, Latin, Afro, and dance music roots, extending into forward-thinking sounds.Deep House on 2, House on 2, Funk on 2 and Disco on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Funky Seshwa Records (1), Studio 54 Music (1) and Vega Records (1). labels on their catalogued releasesRecently at 314 Scholes, H0L0, Xanadu · often with O.BEE, Tomas Station, Rasho, none of them here that night

Sean Lyles embraces the potential of music as nourishment and relishes in the process of painting a colorful picture with sound. His speciality lies in harnessing deep, pulsating basslines and crisp harmonics to enhance flow and immersion in any given space. Shaped by constant travel from his formative years to now, his resonance with various pockets of culture has imprinted on his sound signature through unique melodies and soulful beats. Free from an affinity to a particular time period or genre, Sean tunes into his feelings to search for the records that are rich in emotion and saturated with soul. Sourcing music from the hole in the wall shops in New York and beyond, he seeks inspiration from every corner of his travels. Behind the decks, Sean channels his love for the dance floor into vibrant sets, alive with both emotion and sound. Fueled by a desire for communal movement, his repertoire consists of rhythms that are easily accepted by the moving body. He flows from R&B to driving disco, while infusing melodic techno and giving detailed consideration to house music in all its forms and flavors.Recently at Moondog Hifi, Le Bain, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Jay Esko, Sevyn, CARISTA, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Joiah is an Italian–Colombian singer, producer, and DJ based in New York whose approach to electronic music feels closer to ritual than performance. She gravitates toward the spaces where eras, textures, and energies blur — between 90s trance echoes, cosmic house sensibilities, raw house breaks, and the shadowy pulse of techno. Never tied to a single lane, she moves through styles like currents, guided by intuition, symbolism, and emotion. As a producer, she released “Alchemic Amazon” on BSR, featuring a remix by Paolo Mosca, alongside several independent projects. Her collaborations include work with Muted Noise (with Roger Gerressen), Picnic Records, Klassified, vocal contributions to Gojnea76, an appearance on Nathan Melja’s Djo Sinego, and a guest mix for R&S Records. She has also delivered mixes for The Lot Radio. Joiah holds a residency with Signal and Apollo Studio while further expanding her presence within the global underground landscape. She has performed across the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, France, and the United States, and has shared the stage with acts such as Mochakk, Deniro, Gojnea76, Sandrien, BELLA, VTSS, and more. In New York, she curates the underground series Sudden Logic and hosts Talks With Goddesses — The Artemisia Collective, a podcast devoted to female empowerment in the arts and sports, exploring intuition, identity, and the transformative force of community. “Joiah’s artistry is like a galaxy brain-scaled explosion of sounds. She weaves Cali, Colombia’s bustling markets into ear candy with jazzy breaks, acid twirls, and dreamy vocals. Picture yourself vibing from a chill house party to a neon-lit club, all in one track. Indeed, Joiah’s eclecticism appeals as much to the listener as the dancer, which grants her a PHD in spirit lifting.” - Best Kept Secret Music FestivalTheir RA profile lists Future Culture Records, BSR, Muted Noise and Picnic Records.Recently at Apollo Studio, MAD Radio NYC, Green Room NYC · often with CAMILLA, Black Pomade, Armii1n, none of them here that night
