SOMMA thoughtfully achieves to embody the perfect intersection of underground authenticity and mass appeal. Rooted in Berlin, he is known for delivering groovy, soulful and grungy soundscapes, masterfully painting his tracks with deep movement and original writing. His integration of forward thinking design, sound and fashion has led him to become a rising force in the house and techno scene. It didn’t take long until fellow artists started noticing his pristine writing and production skills, receiving spins around the world from the likes of Adriatique, Keinemusik, The Blaze, HotSince82, Black Coffee, Dennis Ferrer and many more. Over the past years SOMMA has developed into a prolific performer who’s been showcasing his vibe at shows across the globe. And it doesn't stop here: SOMMA is striving to be on the forefront of a cultural movement with his creative collective and label LE YORA (together with JEWELS and YUMA): “LE YORA is a world we’re building that allows us to express ourselves with no boundaries. Everything you see on this brand, whether it’s the music, the artworks, the clothes - it’s all designed by us and us only. We’re songwriters, we’re designers, we’re DJs... we’re creatives of many mediums and this allows us to fill in that grey area between what it means to be a DJ versus to be an artist.”Recently at Avant Gardner · often with Ksenyeah, Mano Le Tough, Ede, none of them here that night
