    “Sara Landry is relentless.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Sara Landry is relentless. At once immensely creative and wholly uncompromising, Sara is a self-taught producer, audio engineer, and DJ known for her dark, driving, and divinely feminine brand of industrial techno. Though only a few years into what is sure to be a long and storied career, Sara has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting new voices in techno, with her releases on T-Minus, Kraftek, and mau5trap quickly attracting an ever-growing community of loyal fans, and cementing her firmly on the radar of some of the industry’s most prominent tastemakers, including Perc, I Hate Models, Nico Moreno, VTSS, Cera Khin, Cassie Raptor, and Amelie Lens. As a producer, Sara is an irrefutable powerhouse who delights in surprising her listeners, deftly pushing the envelope to craft innovative sonic experiences that are, above all else, deliberate, witchy, and weird. Her productions have been streamed millions of times, are frequently featured on Spotify’s Techno Bunker, and her industrial remix of Cardi B’s WAP made quite an impact on the European rave scene. As a DJ, Sara is an explosive presence and open channel, consistently delivering thunderous, hammering sets that have won the hearts of techno fanatics the world over and earned her a slew of high-profile 2021 bookings at Coachella’s Yuma tent, Red Rocks, and Brooklyn Mirage. At her core, Sara is an intentional energetic conduit; her sole goal with her music is to help her audiences transcend known musical experiences by providing a space for them to lose themselves in the realm she manifests with her meticulously-executed productions and warehouse/livestream event series KLUBHAUS.
Their RA profile lists Mau5trap Recordings, Crisis Of Man, RAW, Zeca Records and 4 more.

“Having cemented herself as a true maven of the peak time banger via a series of high-energy features on the likes of Solardo’s Sola, Patrick Topping’s TRICK, Jax Jones Presents and Spinnin’ Records, a succession of sell-out club nights under her own outfit, plus upcoming shows at the likes of DC10 and Warehouse Project — it’s hard to look away from Dundee born-and-raised DJ and producer Hannah Laing’s unstoppable trajectory to the top.”

Having cemented herself as a true maven of the peak time banger via a series of high-energy features on the likes of Solardo’s Sola, Patrick Topping’s TRICK, Jax Jones Presents and Spinnin’ Records, a succession of sell-out club nights under her own outfit, plus upcoming shows at the likes of DC10 and Warehouse Project — it’s hard to look away from Dundee born-and-raised DJ and producer Hannah Laing’s unstoppable trajectory to the top. Rapturous new single ‘Climax’ on WUGD joins a slew of big room, blissed-out anthems spanning house, techno and everything in between — including her knockout 2019 bootleg of Sophie Ellis Bextor’s iconic 2001 hit ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’, a rework that earned Laing global acclaim and the notice of some of the biggest names in the business, including FISHER who dropped the track during most sets in 2019. Having caught the attention of BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Danny Howard, JAGUAR and Sarah Story, she made her BBC Introducing debut at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May 2022. She has still found time to develop her own podcast and club night: Hannah’s Choice — with guests such as Hannah Wants, Marc Kinchen, Jax Jones and Ben Helmsley. Hannah credits her prowess as a DJ to her time hustling as an Ibiza resident, having landed her first regular spot at a Scottish bar in San Antonio at the tender age of 19 — going on to play at island institutions DC-10, Amnesia and Hï. This daily grind as DJ — bringing in guests and keeping the energy high no matter how many bodies were on the dancefloor — has given her a keen ability to stretch and manoeuvre a room, ensuring every performance is unique and reactive. Having been raised on a diet of Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez and a treasure trove of Hedkandi cassette tapes — all from archives of her rave-loving parents, Laing doesn’t remember a time when she wasn’t surrounded by dance music. Her first encounter with the club was at age 15, an experience that fundamentally affected Laing’s musical outlook; she recalls watching on eagerly as Dave Pearce dropped trance classics such as Delirium’s ‘Silence’. From that day on, Hannah had caught the bug, gaining her first ever DJ gig at 18 at a tiny pub in Arbroath attended by a coach load of her friends and family — from here, she took every opportunity to show off her skills with both hands: weddings, baby showers, birthdays… you name it. Her move from mixing to making music came about through a mixture of opportunity and dedication, first by chance having heard about a fellow Ibiza worker who was giving lessons to budding producers on Ableton — becoming so engrossed in her tuition, she dedicated every day off she had on the island to learn the new skill. Once back in Scotland, she signed up for a course at Escapade Studios and also works with longtime friend Erskine Audio — transitioning from looping basics to full-blown breakdown ecstasy, all with a dancefloor destination in mind. Coming up this year, Hannah Laing has a massive club and festival calendar ahead. Heading back to the White Isle, she’ll be joining Patrick Topping’s TRICK party at DC10 as well as TRICK’s Glasgow instalment at 100 Eastvale — alongside festivals Creamfields, Beatherder and TRNSMT. With features on Data Transmissions Spotlight Mix Series, a peak time mix on Sarah Story’s Future Dance on BBC Radio 1 and many more, expect to hear much more about this rising star this summer.
Their RA profile lists Polydor, Spinnin' Deep and Trick.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Drawing tangible inspiration from the early 2000s hard techno & groove hiatus, Evan Marshall’s artistry continues to blossom as time goes on. Having exposed himself to electronic music at barely 10 years old by ‘borrowing’ his older brother’s discs, a young Alt8 (as he would later become known) was set onto the musical pathway at the conclusion of his formative years. After witnessing his older brother performing at an event just a few years later, he began cutting his teeth playing a mixture of hip hop & dance music throughout Ireland. His taste for a myriad of genres mean that his DJing stylings incorporate multiple sectors of music, mixing between ‘moments’ as opposed to just ‘music’. On a given day, anyone who will see him perform can expect a collection of industrial, groove, rave or big melodies - all fused with distinct hard techno drums to create a uniquely memorable atmosphere. It goes without saying that Alt8 is a representation of musical diversity - and it’s something that definitively sets him apart from those around him. Whilst DJing remained a distinct passion of his, he eventually began to make his own productions in 2019 following an awakening to the vibrancy of the techno genre, drawing influence from old school hard techno when devising drum sequences. That isn’t to say that melodies are left out in the cold; rather they are delicately paired with the harder, industrial elements in certain tracks - as can be seen most prominently on his ‘Hope in Darkness’ EP on Manchester’s ‘Moments In Time’ imprint that reached #1 on Beatport’s hard techno chart. With many releases to his name already, some key highlights include his debut EP in 2020 on T-Minus Records (featuring a remix from Sara Landry), a remix he produced for techno titan Rebekah that was played by some of the scene’s most respected names, and his ‘Nineninefour’ track that released on Belgium’s ‘Rave Alert’. It was however his marked growth in 2021 that really has elevated Alt8 to the next stage of his career; a year that culminated in him releasing ‘Mind Control’ on DYEN’S ‘Reckless’ label. The high-octane, groovy thumper that whilst being a bit different to his usual productions, garnered the respect and support of the industry heavyweights. Prior to it being formally released, videos from select DJs playing the track who were lucky enough to have it begun circulating online - unsurprisingly, the ID requests were overwhelming to the point that it simply had to be released. Having utilised his recent years to fine tune his talents as both a producer and a DJ, it’s quite clear to those who know Alt8 that he’s firmly headed in the right direction as an artist. For those who haven’t yet gotten to know him, they certainly will soon.
Their RA profile lists Kneaded Pains, Moments In Time, Hekate and HEKATE Records.
